Does anyone else struggle to find a partner/BF/GF who is interested in the kink scene but also wants to have a normal relationship outwith it?

I feel like I kinda fall into this weird middle ground where the usual dating apps are no use because if I mention it, all chat turns into guys just thinking I’m a sex pest and want me for only that but then on here, obviously Fab isn’t a dating site so… where’s the middle ground? Where’s the app/site for people like me who want a relationship but with someone that will bend me over in front of a crowd of people 🤣🙈??

I'm with you on this!

I joined Fab because of a similar experience of sharing this side of myself on there and men aren't able to get past it, just see you as someone for sex and nothing else.

I think it’s a difficult thing for people to get their head around, it sounds to me like you are looking for someone to do all the usual relationship things with, and have kinky sex, but not have the commitment of a relationship, is that right?

Mmmmm… not quite. I want all the traditional relationship stuff but… with someone really kinky and happy to share me lol 😂. Like.. when all the other couples are sat with a Chinese watching a film on a Saturday, we’re at a club, socialising and maybe getting railed as well 🙈😆 x

Us men are delicate little flowers, it’s unusual you find one of us whose ego can cope with the sharing part! If you aren’t into sharing too then a cuckold relationship might be right for you, but beware if that’s what you’re after as you’ll be fighting the fakers off with a shitty stick.

I've tended to find a number of folk on dating sites/alt sites are on here anyway. I'm very happily single, but have had a few longer term fwb I've found on here. Tends to happen when you just click though and naturally progresses from there. So the standard keeping in touch, turns into talking a lot. And meeting up turns into doing stuff together outside the kinky bits...

I've never found it by looking though, and I think some men balk if you say you're seeking a fwb/partner from the off

i think it tends to happen when not really looking for it just like it can happen anywhere else in life ..

me personally think looking for it on a sex lifestyle site / kink sites dont work for most ... yes a few will come out of the woodwork and say its worked for them as its a success but there are 1000s who dont want to talk about it as it was a disaster ...

there are 1000s of men saying they want relationships yet very few women and it seen the type of men women want relationship wise are very far and few between ...just my view

With complete authenticity - I have no idea what constitutes a normal relationship.

It's a great post though, given that it's a swinger's site with couples, then I can't for the life of me understand why people think it's not a site for relationships, or it's just for the sex. I think there's a plethora people on here looking for anything you can think of and more. Hence, why I find this place so interesting.

Sometimes the more you look the more frustrated you get. Just like in the outside world, if its going to happen it will naturally.

As for the speed dating idea previously mentioned? There's been many organised swinging speed dating events. Can be great, but as with any organised event or even just 1-2-1 meet/social, some will tell you what you want to hear in the hope of getting naked with you.

Better to let things evolve naturally.

I can’t speak for Fab. I met my beloved on Bumble! He is amazing. I was super open from the beginning that I’m ENM. He is a trained and practiced Dominant. I think there's a reasonable chance of finding that on here. It's a site for people who are non-monogamous, in whatever form. There's a certain amount of crossover between various forms of non-monogamy. Many swingers are polyamorous and many poly people also swing. There is much in between. There are a couple of dating sites that are worth using for ENM contacts, these are OK C and F E E L D. I would say that they are your other best choices.

All of these (other dating sites plus Fab) have the same drawbacks, i.e. men outnumbering women causing women to be drowned in messages and men to be forever ignored, but as you (OP) are a woman, you have the advantage in that you can pro-actively go out there on Fab and search for the men that interest you for their minds and not just their cocks. It might be hard work sifting through all those profiles but at least you can make some poor men's days by messaging them first.

I know quite a few couples who have got together in a relationship by meeting on Fab. It can work.

Yeah I had the same problem on ordinary dating apps, when I've mentioned that I'm bisexual they've insistently just say threesome. I'm lucky with my partner now.

Admittedly I've been surprised how little sex the women here are having, as it's difficult to meet the right person, when you do, they're on the other side of country.
