Rubiksville

Ask the locals ☺️

Paracalow means please

Efferrestow means thank you

Yasas/yasu - means hi/hello

And importantly yamas means cheers (as in when you drink)

o o OO o o

It’s been over 14 years since I’ve been there so no useful recommendations, sorry.

I’ll just say it’s very beautiful and the food was great. Hope you have a great time.

Ankh-Morpork

It’s been almost 8 years since I spent a month there so probably nothing I can recommend .

Do remember to turn outside lights off if you’re near the beach, it’s baby turtle season and they run towards the artificial light and not to the sea.

And you're likely to hear the word 'malaka' (wanker) a lot 🤣 But it's not offensive ... it's just how the local men like to greet each other every morning 😂

So that's what it looks like if you try to type parakalo on a Greek polytonic keyboard in Fab, everyone. :D

Don't forget the ever-useful:

Tha eethela ton logariasmo, parakalo

(I would like the bill, please)
