Thinking about the fantasy element I was objective and able to appreciate her excitement and think back to a time when we shared that. I'd also harboured a desire to open our relationship but this wasn't her thing. As such, the reality of the situation meant that her intention was deceptive and given that she was against anything other than vanilla monogamy, two-faced. She did it without any care for the ramifications and implications to me, believing that if I were to find out I would be hurt and that she wouldn't accept it in return. That meant there could be no trust which is a fundamental cornerstone in a relationship. I'm liberal and open minded. Sex can be something that's shared and I'm not wedded to monogamy but it must be mutually respectful and this wasn't. | |||

I’ve read and heard it said that some prefer people who are cheating as there’s less chance of them wanting something full time Here’s my thoughts and maybe controversial but I’ll say them anyway For me cheating is really really low. People cheat for a reason. Lack of sex at home, not feeling they are desired anymore, boredom, many reasons. Have the whatever you need to be able to communicate with your partner about what you need from the relationship. If they can’t do that seek external help. Is a marriage or a relationship worth throwing away for a fuck and if you really have tried all avenues then approach having an approved partner or leave. There’s so much more than sex. What if your partner was ill or had a medical condition that meant their sex drive dropped or stopped all together. Would you honestly say that’s it we are done. What part of your partner finding out you’re having an affair will help their confidence or esteem and make them want to be with you again Many if not all relationships go through phases and we can lose the ability to vocalise what we want and need but also what we can give and provide to our partners Lastly for those that think emotions aren’t formed if you’re with someone who is cheating I would question that. If you’re getting something that you’re not getting at home you feel amazing again and then there is the very real possibility that emotions will form As I say just my opinions and everyone can do what they want and how they want " I agree with everything you say here.
