Is there anyone interested in GOT or watching HOD right now? Would love to review episodes with other enthusiasts and discuss the show and characters

I was expecting a rush of ladies swooning over Jason Momoa....

He seems to have struck a nerve with women. It seems like the muscly viking/gypsy look is a hit.

I’ve been watching it. Just watched the most recent episode today. Its not bad so far but definitely not as good as the first few seasons of GoT

GOT I put off for years then binge watched in lockdown.

HOD I get lost with who’s who with the kids, and there’s not enough fucking in it as GOT

Just my 2 pence worth

It has started off a little slow but so did the first couple seasons of GOT I wonder how many seasons they’ll go with HOD

GOT definitely felt more fleshed out from the get go which considering each shows source materials makes sense.

I'm enjoying HOD but definitely not as invested. And Matt Smith is being wasted this year, also looks like he should be in Rings Of Power and not HOD imo

I'm enjoying HOD but not got the burning desire for new episodes to air. I used to get that with GOT

I loved GOT, and enjoyed the first series of HOTD, but really struggled with season 2. Tried watching the last episode of first season again but I just can’t get into it at all.

GoT was amazing. Couldn’t really fault it. Hooked me from the start.

Really struggling with HoG. Too many characters look similar. Storyline bit boring. Poor action. Not a lot happens. Will keep trying.

Glad I’m not the only one who gets confused with the characters. I then tried to place who they were distantly related to in GOT and gave up in the end!

Loved game of thrones, saw it many times.

Saw first season house of dragon, there’s something about it that I don’t like, I tried.

Watched Game of Thrones last month, loved it; and almost finished watching it again.

Best thing I've watched.

It's so witty, and I love the swearing.

I watched a couple of House of the Dragons but stopped; will resume.

Loved GOT up till end of season 4

Currently enjoying HOD...but doesn't not have the level interest for me that GOT had at its best.

That’s because the show was catching up to the books after season 4 and HBO made too many changes in their own direction and took away content from the books and added their own which most had pointless storylines

Agree, I get lost as some of the mothers look about 5 years older than the kids, and there’s no way near enough fucking as there was in GOT

Game of Thrones is fantastic up until they ran out of book material to draw on, IMO.

House of the Dragon is awesome; the wife and I need to catch up on the new season.

Same as most of the above posters, GOT was brilliant until the final season.

HOTD was a slow start, seems to be improving but no where near the excitement of GOT where you couldn't wait to watch the next episode.

As for the confusing family lines etc, we've taken to watching a breakdown after each episode on a well known video sharing website

It's easier to follow than GOT, since there is less going on. But HOD is a good watch I'd say

I think part of the lessened excitement in House of the Dragon comes from largely knowing the eventual outcome for the characters. You know it's all going to shit and that nobody's coming out of it intact. That's my issue in general with prequels following characters whose fates you already know, tbh.
