Keep up the good work consumers, I'll take my dividends and eat freshly baked chocolate cake, at my local cafe; whilst y'all eat a tiny chocolate bar that's 50% palm oil. Don't forget to pay the extra quid for the 'protein' plant-based, fairtrade version. And recycle that oil-based packaging appropriately. Shell values your custom and appreciates that you had other options today. Yummy taste the rainbow .

The subscription fee for the popular LGBT-focused app with the yellow mask logo

£25 a month essentially for the ability to hide your profile from spam/scam, something anyone with an account on here or fabguys can do for free.

Paid that for over a year and the only thing of value I got from it was Google Play store credit.

Alcohol. I was surprised to pay £6.50 recently in Notts for a pint although Wetherspoons has great beer and prices. Here in Dubai it’s around £10-£15 a pint or sometimes £20, so I literally have 2-3 pints a week

I really tried to think.

The only thing I stopped buying are things that are supporting causes that I don’t support. Otherwise, I can’t think of anything that I’ve stopped using due to increase prices.

glad i gave up drinking 7 years ago especially at 15 to 20 quid a pint.back in the 90s you could have a full night out for 20 quid bus in to town drinks all night takeaway on the way home and sometimes still had a bit of change.wonder how much a pint will be in 30 years time

A mate of mine spent 5 years working in Saudi, he got really good at making his own home brew and 20 years later, back home in England, it's all he drinks.

Olive oil. Although I didn't find a garlic infused one in aldi the other day for about £2.50 so I got that!

I rarely buy branded cola anymore, always the pepsi max equivalent, I used to get a 500ml bottle from the shop every day when I went to work but now I buy the cheaper cans of "vive" from Aldi and leave in the back of my car, then I always have one available.

Seems like a good saving .. but might be a bit expensive when you run out and need to nip over to Portugal to get more
