If I was playing tonight I would insist on playing offside, I’ve had a few pints and I really don’t wanna be running around, waiting by the goal for someone to pass me the ball would be okay, I reckon I could win for England if they played me in the offside position

I pride myself on never having used a Euro.

I got rid of my few remaing Francs on a day trip to Chausey from Jersey right at the end of old money and have meant to put my small amount of Dutch and Spanish change into charity collecting boxes.

Covid and Brexit between them have marked the end of my travelling days anyway but ever since the launch of the Euro (quite coincidentally) I had been going much farther afield than Europe anyway and still avoiding all contact with football and other sports!
