Lots of thoughts on this after the Netflix series Bridgerton cast a couple where the man is perfect weight and the lady he woos is certainly overweight. Talk of Mixed Weight relationships, weight shaming and even toxic fatphobic commentary whatever that is. Is this really an issue. It's all over the news

It’s no issue until some tool in the spotlight makes it one to generate some click bait.

Carlisle usually

At the time plumpness was a sign of wealth and comfort, and so probably considered more of a positive.

Plus, she does have cracking norks.

People are attracted to different body types to themselves sometimes.

I don't generally find my kind of hourglass on a male torso as attractive as I find it on another woman. When I lost 8 stone I didn't suddenly become more attracted to skinny people

I prefer a man taller, fatter and broader than me, I think it's a primative feeling, but one I struggle to let go of Alas, I have found my audience to be extremely sparse

I guess that's just the Internet for you. People will bitch and moan about anything and everything, especially if it doesn't affect them in the slightest.

My opinion, as long as who you're attracted to is of legal age, nothing else matters

None story Tom..

What about local reports, surely there's a fete with cute puppies and egg and spoon races or a flower show with rude shaped vegetables to inform the lounge about?

It isn't real. I was watching some bbw porn the other day. That was real and well better than Bridgerton.

Wow that’s a great achievement … probably one of the hardest things ever to do

Your brain takes over a year to recognise your new weight and shape - thus making it so easy to put it back on again

Big respect

If I wanted to loose eight stone, I'd probably have to cut some limbs off!

BUT ....

Can I jump on the bandwagon please? I'm working hard at it and I've lost 9.2 kg since March.

For Tom, that'd be 1 and a half stone, a measurement system sometimes referred to as Imperial, because good ol' Blighty once ruled most of the globe and we had the best ever defeat at Dunkirk.

What is a perfect weight? Certainly not the one I bought for my balloon. It floated away.

I was in a relationship that was mixed weight, mixed age, mixed nationality and same sex

There were more people frustrated by the weight difference than anything

It's just a nonsense

The notion that if you are gym fit you can only fancy other gym fit people is ridiculous

We couldn't be any different weight-wise, if we tried. 20yrs later and it seems to work pretty well. Now you add "disabled" in with the "fat" label and you get some wonderful insults aimed at Mr KC.

Who said the man was the 'perfect weight' did they check his BMI?

somewhere

TV shows mostly make out that no skinny bloke wants to be with a fat bird do they? Unless it's to make fun of and mock, so to see it like it's perfectly normal (which it is!) is refreshing, which reminds me, I need to watch bridgerton lol

If you look her up, she's far from overweight. She wears a 10/12 and is 5ft1. She just stands next to very thin and taller girls in all her shows
