Respectfully. But I'm also really not looking for complications.

So we'd have to have an open and honest chat

It did happen a while back. Very flattering, but not reciprocated unfortunately.

I was taken aback at the time as she was a more experienced swinger than I was, but we talked it out. We continued being fwb for a little while, but that was the beginning of the end. To much of a head fuck for her I think.

Aww. That's sweet. Everyone usually does, and that's why my boundaries are clearly established from the start.

I imagine loving me whilst I continue doing everything that I enjoy (mostly being on my own) will prove hard for you?

In which case, think about the reality of being with me, and if your love for me is too difficult for you to manage, then please - fuck off x

I've had it said a good few times to me. I've said it back to two people. The fiancé and a partner during the Covid days.

I love language, love being loved but... I'd much rather be shown it. For it not to be a declaration of expectation and love but loving me for who I am, as I am.

So I'd react positively (I imagine, it's nuanced) but also... wanting the actions to match the words.

I had someone say that to me, they weren’t from fab but it was a very casual thing and we hadn’t known each other long.

He said it in bed and I jumped out of bed and said out loud “what the fuck”…. And that was that

I do feel bad at how I reacted, I wish I had been a bit more gentle with his feelings but I was shocked.

Depends on the relationship. Random fabbers spouting it then ignore and block

If it's someone I've know for a long time I'll explore what it means to them and why

Twice it's been said by FWB's, both long term relationships and yes, both times it's been reciprocated

If you have a few times and both single it could be positive .

If in throws of passion an accident

If after just pic swapping and chat then feel positive really likes you but then get very careful

"Married him "

Awwww there is hope there still for the romantics

I was once mid throws of passion 2nd meet and the man in the middle of some dirty talk suggested "I loved him" .... I think my response of laughing was not what he was expecting ..... politely explained it was just sex and I didn't know him well enough to have feelings ....

My last two proper relationships (one from fab and one not) i got the feelings and it was not reciprocated.... well not at all in one of them ... and not very well in the other. My lesson in that is if it happened to me and someone declared the Love word to me .... if I did not feel that way or have any intention of feeling that way I would bring things to an end kindly and swiftly.

Did once have a FWB who wanted more and I drew things to a close as I didn't.

If they are mid orgasm shouting “Oh God, I love you!”, I’d laugh.

If they were d*unk at a bar after kisses and flirting, threw their arm over my shoulders and whispered, “Fuck, I love you!”, I’d take it to mean in that moment they are loving our time together.

If they stared into my eyes sober, clumsily, whilst crying at breakfast and expressed they loved me, I’d be terrified. Not a Fab person, but on a second date a guy did this to me. Over breakfast. Whilst crying. I didn’t know how to react. I panicked. We had a whole day to spend together and he dropped this literal love bomb on me early in the day. Needless to say, I never saw him again.
