It's not a term I use.

When I have people ask me about it, most often they seem to mean "living breathing sex toy" or similar, or maybe "living breathing sex toy that I'm minimally polite to".

For the most part I develop friendships here, just friendships that also involve sex. I'm very clear that I don't want a relationship style commitment or children out of the arrangement, and act accordingly, but I've got strings galore.

To me it is just that. We can fuck. If that goes well we can do it again but that is where the line is. We aren't getting involved in each other's lives. Doesn't mean no respect and certainly doesn't mean we can't be friends. It's about boundaries and sticking to them.

As previously mentioned, and has been demonstrated here, I tend to ask what NSA actually means to anyone I might be considering engaging with. That way I can make an informed decision over whether to continue because actually, I DO want some strings - how can you form a friendship without some strings? And for me, there's rarely any intimacy without that friendship/connection.
