I got to a point a few years back where age just stopped mattering as much. I think when you’re younger you want people your age, and older people tend to be seen as “older people”.

But these days, I’ve come to see it differently. I’ve seen younger folk acting more mature than people my age. I’ve seen older people act like complete idiots. I’ve seen young people who look 20 years older and people older than me who look like they could pass for college students.

I take it as it comes now. I haven’t asked for age… well, ever really. But it’s not something I even bring up in conversation in clubs or things. As far as I’m concerned, as long as your legal age, the more important thing is a) am I attracted to you and b) am I attracted to your personality.

Because there are far bigger things than your age that turn me off a person.

I haven’t seen too much of a decline when I turned 50 but I think it really becomes noticeable when you actually turn 51. That’s when you’re out of many people’s age range as it’s usually set up to 50.
