Failing that, Jam Roly Poly served with bourbon vanilla custard.

Pizza. No contest.

The only trouble is it’s too easy to order it.

Come in late? Well happy days it’s open until stupid o’clock.

Just got in from a club?

Shitty night out?

Knackered from a meet?

Annoying kids party you had to take your own monster to?

Just woke up?

ALWAYS PIZZA.

Actually I’m hungry right now……

Totally... Have you tried the batter ones... Crispy coating soooo good.

When I have no bread, I microwave a tin of beans and stick the hot, crispy FFs into that. Eat with a big spoon.

"Curried goat/mutton, rice and kidney beans, coleslaw, plantain, side salad and lots (2-4) of fried dumplings yum "

Fried dumplings make me so happy.

So the two main components of comfort food for me - carbs and cheese.

Cheese toastie.

Raclette.

Tartiflette.

Baked macaroni cheese.

Cheesecake

Cheese on toast

Fondue

Those baking camemberts you can get with crudites and fresh bread.

A cheeseboard. With wine (yes, wine is a comfort food).

I could eat fried dumplings with just a bowl of coleslaw

But yeah carbs and well anything savory is my downfall

Ha, I know that feeling so well! Fried dumplings, maybe a bit of macaroni cheese but properly done and seasoned. Minimum 4 because what's the point of half arseing it with 2. And no festivals instead of dumplings.

2 to 4 large dumplings you forgot to add , but hell yeah fully seasoned and with Mac and cheese sounds bang on might try it out soon
