La la land

My parents met at the young farmers club. So fairly standard.

My grandparents met as my gran nearly ran over my grandad on her bike. They married quite quickly after in secret. With one barely being able to speak English the other not being able to speak Welsh at all

My Mum worked in a School over looking the Garage where my Dad worked as a mechanic. She clocked him in his overalls, one day he noticed her watching and waved at her. And so it began....

They divorced when I was ten, she had been having an affair. One day she waited until he left for work, packed her stuff and left us. He came home to a note on the kitchen table saying she'd left with this bloke.

Not long before she died she asked me if he would have had her back had he still been alive, I said 'yes in a heartbeat'

My mum was an exotic dancer aged 29 in late 70s and met my dad who was 19 out with his bodybuilding mates for night out. I was conceived. They stayed together short while as he did not believe I was his and been an absent father, yet I look spitting image of him. I can thank him for my blow job lips especially. That is my story and a true one at that. Hope it made interesting reading while you sipping your morning cup of teas.

These are interesting.

It actually occurred to me that nobody would meet at a bus stop now because everyone stares at their phones.

I reckon if (god forbid) I was single I'd have great success at bus stops. People my age tend to chat at them and I think 9/10 times recently a man has spoken to me. One bless his little cotton socks, to tell me I was wasting too much money at the hairdressers

You've got me thinking now. I'm not entirely sure but I think it was related to the insurance industry. Dad doesn't remember my mother at all now, so I'll never know for sure.

I ended up having phone conversations with billy fury's widow, years ago. It was for a music related thing and a friend put me in touch. Nothing came of it though.

People don’t do that anymore do they?

But look how social media is connecting people. It’s similar I suppose.

Some people think Mr KC has a bit of resemblance to him, maybe that's why I fancied him
