Sadly ! Alot of attractive females tend to have very low self esteem due to social media and current pressures to be stick thin and always made up with make-up etc but then if they're stick thin they're told they're too skinny need to be more curvy they can't win so sadly I think from my experience majority of people and sadly usually the nice looking ones tend to not like what they see in the mirror sadly its becoming more common for men too with pressures to be ripped and shredded and loads of other things

Sometimes I look and think I am ok. Lumps, bumps, imperfections and inadequacies are there but overall I think I look alright. On the odd occasion I even look pretty (to me).

Most of the time those thoughts are wiped out by numerous negative words and memories of being told I am not enough/attractive etc.

So I try and focus on the things my body can do instead. It helps to be positive in that way and stops me losing too much confidence again.

Positive affirmations is the way forwards.

I’m more accepting of my lines, receding hairline and salt and pepper stubble now and use my eyes much more, instead of looking away quickly.

Arrogance and self confidence are very different.

I see my grey, my wrinkles, my scars, the cellulite that I swear appeared out of nowhere. I think being single long term takes a toll on a persons self confidence.

I have mirrors all over the flat.

Not because I'm in any way vain, but because they make it look bigger!

What do I see when I look at them? Me. Older than I was but younger than I'll be next week.

Do I think I'm attractive? I've seen worse. I probably looked better twenty years ago but part of life is getting older and adjusting to change. And whilst I see wrinkles, grey stubble and scars it's still me. The outside has weathered a lot more than the inside over the years.
