Can you eat a kebab on a nann where it’s got everything on it and the chille sauce or the yogurt etc … without dripping any down your chin and on down your top.

And if your a woman that answers yes…. Call me?

But, this is a skill. Who the hell eats one with a knife and fork. (Just heard this!)

My nan’s spare room.

Mate.

Guilty as charged in that I’m a knife and fork man, however in defence that shows that I actually imbibe of God’s chosen food in the house; and not only on a street corner at 1 in the morning dribbling chilli sauce down my front and trying to convince the taxi driver I won’t be sick in his cab.

Yes of course, knife and fork all the way, no nasty grabbing and shoving it in.

Knife and fork...when there's less meat then wrap it and eat

Like a hoggie wrap?

You can eat those easy without a fork and knife. I’m not sure about the spillage though

"Knife and fork...when there's less meat then wrap it and eat"

So you make sure it more manageable before you shove it down your throat?

Carlisle usually

Oh, I'm very much an eat with my fingers person over a knife and fork whenever it's not too inappropriate.

And I'm good at not ruining my lipstick on it

A mate would get in a mess, he looked like he had stuck it on a plate and dived in without even picking it up.

It’s basically just a big, slightly funny shaped burrito isn’t it? Burritos are easy - just start from the top and work down.

I can do it. I prefer a wrap to a naan these days though, less bulky.

He was straight so might have been practicing for something or other.

.

I use cutlery. It's not graceful though, kebabs for me are firmly in the category of tipsy night out food.

I managed on Sunday OP.

Although I couldn't have spilled on my top, I'd taken it off.

Somewhere In The Ether…

I’m an unrepentant savage and always eat kebabs with my fingers.

As regards if I can do so without dropping at least some down my front…..

I do enjoy kebab, and whilst I do eat it with my fingers I do cut it in half and squish it a bit

Knife and fork to the meat salad and chips enough to lessen the load on the naan and allow me to consume it in a partially civilised manner. Meat must still be present or it's just deliciously saucy bread.

A kebab should be in a pitta bread not naan. I love me a lamb shish and I’ll scoff that with my fingers and maybe use a fork to scoop up the leftover salad bits

Personally I disagree. I'm not a purist, I just want the best kebab and pitta is just a little naff. Kebab on a big fluffy warm moist naan is a beautiful evolution and a positive of an increasing smaller world.

I think the size and quality of the naan is a big factor. But yes is a skill I've perfected over time.
