Can't wait to see it when it's dark and the lights are shining on it.

Enjoy. It is a stunning piece and was created at an ironworks literally 5 minutes from my house. I know the sculptor.

They had a huge display there dedicated to the cause of knife crime and impact statements from victims and families along with bloodied weapons still in evidence tubes, really brought the message home and I hope the message has reached as many people as possible

Same, I spent ages just reading through every single thing, heartbreaking but necessary I feel.

I always visit when the Knife Angel comes home, the British Ironworks is such a lovely little place to visit with some fantastic pieces of artwork

It was in Birmingham recently. A young lad was stabbed to death very close to it. While it might be thought provoking to normal people, it has no affect on young thugs running around our cities with machetes and knives.

Something really needs to be done about knife crime, building an art exhibition is not the answer.

I don’t know what the answer is.

I've not seen the exhibit, If its easily accessible I may visit when I'm in Leeds

Sadly knife crime is nothing new, different generations will know of its affects, since man first invented the blade its been weaponised a friend of mine was stabbed sadly died (rip mick) in the 80's
