I just made a bloomin delicious soup with some left over limp spring onions, some sad tomatoes, all the dregs of the vegetable packets in the freezer, a stock cube, tomato puree and a sprinkling of nutmeg!

I'm a bit under the weather and this has nearly cured me

What's your favourite soup?

I love roast butternut squash soup. When I make it I always have to make a massive pot. Never tried rosemary with it though. I must try it this week

All over

I like a nice soup. Anything from a homemade tomato one to a good rich fish soup which I must say is my favourite. Btw, as you know I often chuck things in and make something ftom my famous frittata to a nice soup like yours. I am glad you feel better already

Homemade lentil. My Scotch broth and leek and potato also tickle the palate. Soup and crusty bread - my favourite lunch.

Haha both ! I like that it’s free but it’s also best soup I’ve had taste wise obviously it’s thin though I normally get one as I go in and another one as I leave sometimes 3 if I’m there talking for a while

Did a great roasted red pepper the other day. Used coconut milk to make it creamy and a bit healthier than double cream. Lovely stuff.

I would happily never eat soup ever, EVER again!

I'm least pissed off with our homemade butternut and chilli or minestrone soups. I now despise all shop bought soup.

That is all

Spring veg - I put some left over chicken in, sprinkle a bit of black pepper & stir, boil up some Udon noodles, then add to the soup & pour into a tall bowl...

If I'm feelin' super eager I fry up an egg & put it on top. Nom, nom.

A recipe I picked up in Zaporihzhia.

Cesnecka - garlic soup.

Tastes a whole lot better than it sounds and is really easy to make.

Magnificent with homemade croutons or chunky crusty rolls.

Some lovely soups here.

I had a lovely homemade broccoli soup in a restaurant last work. It wasn't homemade obviously but I don't know what else you'd call it if it's not out of a tin of powdered

Just one or two fresh springs in whilst cooking and then remove before blitzing and then add a pot of creme fresh or cream and it's delicious!

To be fair I made a butternut squash and apple soup recently and the recipe called for nutmeg and cinnamon. I didn't think it would work but it did! Maybe I should give rosemary a go
