Jennifer Hudson has an amazing voice and control of it.

Whitney of course.

You might need to define this question a bit more.

Not got a definitive answer for ya. But if there was top 10 or 20, Gladys Knight would be on it, and perhaps Bonnie Tyler

Aretha Franklin or Janis Joplin for me. I think Floor Jenson is one of the best modern female vocalists.

It’s different strokes for different folks and genres…

Dusty Springfield Aretha Franklin, Kate bush, Shirley bassey ..bailie holiday…. Each is distinctive and great imo…

But do pushed .. aretha Franklin is my pick

The Big Smoke

It’s too hard to just pick one OP.

Definitely would include Aretha

But I’ve got to add Annie Lennox in there too

So tough to answer, but my top five would probably be Ann Wilson, Etta James, Aretha Franklin, Bonnie Raitt and Pat Benatar.

Janis Joplin. In recent times, Sari Schoor, Sia and Dua Lipa are decent.
