The land of grey peas and bacon

1. things get nicked from your home

2. people will know your address

3. You don't know who will turn up

4. no one will turn up

5. I might turn up

6. your neighbour might turn up

8. things get broken

9. did you figure out there was no 7...

considering your points:

1. Fair enough

2. That is unavoidable

3. That could be fun

4. To be expected

5. The downside of that is?

6. Depends why

7. WTF?

8. Not a lot to get broken and I wouldn't complain if it was my body

9. See 7.

Smacks of desperation tbh. You won't get many takers, if any.

On the face of it and in theory it's an exciting idea that could turn out very well but in pratcice it could turn out like those teenage parties that are posted on facebook when parents are away. The naughty people from school would turn up get d*unk and get sick on the carpet.

Perhaps a dress code would help. Underwear or less. That might dissuade the naughty boozers, and it would be harder to nick anything without being noticed

A dress code would be a good way of dissuading party goers making off with your best silver, it is quite hard to conceal a candleabre in a thong .

So! It's an open house with a dress code of less is more.....bring a bottle? Snacks?

That is how I took it - hence I was not worried. Tbh there were a few scary stories about "house parties" very recently.

As for that party...;-) Thank you

You make it.

Skittles vodka.

1 bag of skittles

1 tablespoon sugar

1 tablespoon water

Put into small pan and heat til water and sugar turn to syrup....

1 bottle vodka with approx 1/5 put down your throat.... Stick syrup and skittles into vodka bottle (when cooled) put cap on tight and bung in the freezer for 2 weeks......

drink neat or with lemonade..... Delicious

Exactly the same with mint balls vodka but smash the balls first
