The man has got a very warped view of women, wealth and the world!!

Let’s hope his time in a Romanian Prison humbles him to the point he just fucking disappears!!!

Really winds me up when people try to defend him with “well he does give some good advice for young men”

Really? What? Work hard in your job and go to the gym?

No ones ever said that until the guy that also attacks women said it?

It’s such a cope. Any good advice he’s ever given has been given by people 1000x better than him and without the background of abusing women.

I’m not gonna watch it because there’s nothing this guy can teach anyone, I’m just hoping it’s not trying to shine him in a bright light.

I won't be watching

I generally endorse not living in a echo chamber and exposing yourself to alternative views

However in this instance...no good will come of it.

I agree entirely with all of this. What is more concerning though is how online algorithms will promote his content. Even if it's not first hand, it'll be videos of him giving his views on all sorts of things and it'll be toxic beyond measure. Scroll through YouTube shorts and you'll see exactly what I mean. I'm absolutely not the sort of person who watches content anything like what he, or people like him, would produce. Yet somehow it finds it way to me. More worryingly, it's finding its way to people a lot younger and it's genuinely quite dangerous. That, in addition to all the other toxic nonsense that's aimed squarely at disenfranchised young men, can be a terrible diet. YouTube is just one example, it's all over TikTok too. What the young are pushed into watching is one of the most profound digital challenges that we face because it isn't just him.

SPALDING

The slightly concerning thing in this thread is people writing him off as 'a tool' or 'spouting nonsense'. That's very much underestimating an intelligent and often very culturally savvy man.

He isn't wrong about everything some of his words are actually good advice for young men and that's what makes him so dangerous, it allows the misogynistic, bigoted and hateful parts to get through. No extremist group has started with the radical bits, first they need your trust.

I'm absolutely NOT a fan, please hear me at the back. I'm NOT defending him BUT I've watched an amount of his content because I wanted to understand his power. Disinfrancised young men are real and he has a way of communicating with that demographic, that should be studied and used by people who aren't morally reprehensible and put to good use. Someone said of Tate 'His diagnosis of the problem is often right but his prescription is often wrong' I don't find that a bad starting point. The question should be how did he become worth a documentary, what created the opportunity for him to prosper?

The rise in lack of good role models for young males.

The bridge being crossed in young women easily overtaking males academically.

More lone mum single parent families (less dads being involved).

Boys feeling less valued in society...

The list is endless!... The issue being that 'some' males then turn this into a 'female' problem

And it then causes hate, a durection to point the finger of blame?... Its not them? It's society, it's the female element that's the problem... And then the hate starts

I don't think this public forum is an ideal place to discuss such a divisive figure, but If you must know, his discussion on the lack of father figures or father absences being pivotal in how young men see and treat women, is an important issue.

Andrew Tate is the discussion in the thread is it not? So of course it's the place to discuss

Really? I disagree, the 'incel' movement is on the increase and while a lack of fatherhood figure in a child's life could be a factor it won't be the only factor that influences how young men see women.....that will be founded on a range of factors no doubt.

But as I said your opinions are your own lol. As someone said above the thread is a good filter

I agree with this... I work with young males who literally have had zero, or negative male role models in their lives. It often leads to falling into negative traits, or gang culture because they're seeking 'something'... I definitely think there should be far more funding for clubs, activities for young men so they can find a positive influence

Do you really need to be qualified to have an opinion on a subject?.. I mean I'm not a gynecologist, but I've had a fanny all my life. So, I'd say I'm fairly familiar on the subject...

"An interesting watch. He has his fans and followers for a reason.

Are you a fan?

Even a broken clock is right twice a day. There's points of his I agree on, others I don't.

He's negated his own views and opinions when he started spouting his bile about victim blaming victims of sexual harassment, however your opinion is yours and nobody can discredit that but to what extent has he influenced your views? And in what way?

I don't think this public forum is an ideal place to discuss such a divisive figure, but If you must know, his discussion on the lack of father figures or father absences being pivotal in how young men see and treat women, is an important issue.

I agree with this... I work with young males who literally have had zero, or negative male role models in their lives. It often leads to falling into negative traits, or gang culture because they're seeking 'something'... I definitely think there should be far more funding for clubs, activities for young men so they can find a positive influence "

Very strong points. Many people, especially those who aren't young men, fail to see the positive implications of a father figure in a young mans upbringing. The statistics are there to show just how many young adolescent offenders are from single parent households, predominantly single mothers. Tate touches on this about how young adolescents need that father figure. He's not wrong. It's only because it's coming out of his mouth that people find it a hard factual pill to swallow.

My 14 year old son asked me what I thought about the guy when he was first arrested. I was surprised that he had even heard of him. So out of curiosity I asked what he knew about the bloke? He said a lot of guys at school liked and followed him, but he couldn't understand why, "because he's a complete Dickhead"

And it's comments like the above posting that just make me feel very sad! And go full circle... Boxing clubs, fitness clubs, boys groups, young men's mental health groups... All! Make a massive difference to young men's lives. And it's the difference between that, or them being massively isolated. That all contribute to our society as a whole...

And if it's not on offer?... That's exactly how we create new Andrew Tate's

I have just watched this program. Now I have a female friend who at the moment have fallen out with of seeing etc with. This because I know he with at some point really hurt her. She has not long ago had a baby . The father has never given any financial help to her . Yet demands to see baby. Be at house for long hours. Yes has assaulted her and more. Tells her about going out etc.

His father did the same to his mother. He also has children with other females . Two have court orders stopping him from going and seeing his children. Yes he has also threatened me with violence. Backed off as I did not back down.

So after watching documentary . There are males out there who think and treat females not as equals? Perhaps not correct wording.

It's so sad when he talks about his dad. He doesn't realise that he was an abusive absent father and partner and there was nothing his kids could have done to change that. He does all this because he thinks that his dad would have loved him more and would have chosen to be around him if he wasn't so "soft".

But mostly I feel sorry for their mum and sister.

I watched documentary. If correct he made his money by using females in a very controlling way . Being I will say in my opinion using threatening behaviour to them.

To the extent they will for some of them say nothing against him . Even in a court of law. He even states the amount of money he makes doing that several times in documentary.

He is always right and never wrong . Which shows his morale and outlook towards females in general ?

Well... He's always paid for it? Either one way or another?

If anything he's a person to be pitied, although if he has dines the crimes alleged then not at all!... But it brings it all into stark context? A man with fame, a lot of self made wealth... Who still can't even get a woman interested with all the above? Due to his shitty personality?... And there are let's face it, some in life willing to overlook quite a lot for money?...

So, he must be a pure shit show of a human being

Likely much worse but he may agree with some of it.

Once you see him speak about his dad, you see why he is the way he is but he has a big platform to share some abhorrent views.

I’m just very suspicious of an openly misogynistic man converting to a religion where honour killing women is still acceptable on the basis of religion in many countries. Where women are expected to obey their husband over threat of violence. Cover their body head to toe because the men can’t control their urges.

A reminder that 50% of uk Muslims believe homosexuality should be illegal

Maybe Islam practised in the right way isn’t an issue

But there’s far too many practising it the wrong way for me to turn a blind eye and pretend it’s not an issue

For me, this has nothing to do with Tates views. It's about defending EVERYONES right to free speech, and that includes yours and mine. I DO NOT agree with Tate , but just like the rest of us ,he has the right to free speech ,and I will defend EVERONES right to that.

"

Misogyny has nothing to do with Andrew Tate’s views?

That’s an interesting take. Could you explain more?

"Honestly there is nothing that makes people more unfuckable than their chavvy, sheltered views from their backwards little villages in the middle of flood country.

The government has got to put money into their education because the level of stupidity is just embarrassing us at a national level.

Like painfully ignorant and totally unaware of how unfuckable it makes them. Its unethical to fuck someone that stupid.

Do you agree in free speech ? I do ,and everyone is entitled to their views ,and whether I agree with them or not ,I will fight to defend their right to air their views.

Take that away and we are finished.

And again, I DO NOT agree with Tates views ,only his right to freedom of speech .

On a serious note, I think he's a genuine psychopath. If he's not already, he seems capable of being another Yorkshire ripper or something. How does society allow it lol"

I watched last night and had watched the netflix documentary about Lewis Taylor (psychopath life coach) last week and every time he was on screen i couldn’t shake the feeling of how similar their characteristics were.

Ironically from watching it i think its daddy issues he has. The guy beat his mum, left them penniless, died himself penniless but tate can’t take him off a hero pedestal.

Curiosity got the better of me so started watching the documentary....it's uncomfortable viewing for sure. The girls accounts are heartbreaking and this bloke seems proud of himself

Can't see his upbringing can be blamed for his views, views like that have not evolved from a place of destitute and abandonedment, those views are innate and ingrained in his psyche

It's a tricky one. It is something that is a downside and a negative of free speech. At what point does free speech become okay, allow all of it or none of it?

However silencing free speech should only ever apply to government involvement and police action. It's a thin line and delicate balance.

If a private company or another person wants to silence somebody and their views then they should be allowed to. Twitter (fuck off am I calling it by its new name) and Facebook for example are free to set whichever views they want associated on their platforms.

If I want to to take a swing at some prick spouting shit (about anything) to silence them, I am free to do that (and suffer the consequences of my own actions).

Inciting (true) hate and violence is as good as intent to cause a crime to take place and should be stopped by police and government however.

Why does it? It’s a great point to make

We want to all pretend these views are either rare, or easy to spot in men

But the truth is many guys hold these views and keep them secret because they know it’ll ruin their chances with women

The forum is a perfect example of these. Many guys hide behind a mask because they don’t want to get filtered out

And that’s important to know because they are the most dangerous, because women don’t know they hold these views until it’s too late.

It's not just men keeping certain things back about women. We see it in politics, environment, society in general.

I only know 2 of those names

Mines full of dogs, cats, food and those annoying audit guys that fly their drone over businesses

TikTok algorithms would be such an insight into a person and I think women should be asking to scroll through guys TikToks

It’s just TikTok right? What do you have to hide? Unless it’s endless Tate shit they’d think nothing of handing it over

"I made a suggestion once to a friend that on a first date she should ask to scroll through a guys TikTok feed for a few mins

You’ll quickly find out what content they like to watch

And I bet way more men that women expect will find plenty of Tate related content in their algorithm

If a woman assumed I had tik tok from the start, the date would already be over anyway

The problem with judging someone by something like this is you don't know why you are watching.

All four of the people above I vehemently disagree with.

If you checked my feed and saw them you could call me every political buzzword from left to right

The problem is larger than tate in my opinion. He is a festering infection on top of a wound. Rather than lump everyone who listens to him a misogynist arsehole, I think we should question why they are so easily manipulated and seemingly what hole he is filling I'm their lives.

This is excellent advice

"

Is it? I don't use tik tok. Never have. The only things I've ever viewed on it are those others have sent me links to.

I image a lot of dangerous men out there have not either.

I'd also expect it then becomes the norm to state they don't use it and delete it from their phone during a first date.

I agree it would tell lots about the person, although not with 100% accuracy. Some will watch due to morbid curiosity, not because they share such views.

I watch lots of flat earth stuff in YouTube, I enjoy the entertainment of their misguided stupidity, but I'm under no hint of belief that the earth is flat.

I expect you are right, but interestingly I have never had any Tate related videos on my YouTube feed.
