We’ve been on and off Fab for years, Mr for as long as it’s been around. Can’t help but feel in recent years that maybe it’s had its day with other platforms passing it by.

Anyone else feel that maybe fab has had its day and is now the barren land for life-stylers of do you think it still has a place?

It’s not black and white, we’re here because there are still things to love about it, also, loyalty to it but it’s not evolved in really to where it perhaps should be.

Also, the numbers online are a marketing device, it’s not a true reflection of people online, most platforms, websites, retailers use this to keep you on. It’s pretty standard practice.

I can't speak for others but other than having a nicer interface I don't have any issues with the site.

One one other one which I almost never log in so can't really compare.

It works fine for me at the moment and If it ever does stop working for me I'll re-evaluate at that time.

Sure its interface is quirky, old school but it’s kind of endearing and for the U.K. at least it has the most active members. It works perfectly for me allowing interactions, forum entertainment, info on events and messaging. I wonder sometimes if it would be better to have it completely behind a paywall to discourage timewasters and fake profiles.

Seek Discover Connect is better for London and abroad though..

I think the site is fine - it has changed loads and it hasn’t changed at all.

It is a lot busier but if you know what you are looking for and how to navigate the site then you can usually find what you want. That has always been the case and always will be.

Agree, it’s not the swingers site it was when it first started. It’s evolved into a swingers and singleton hook up site.

It still serves its purpose for us in exactly the same way as it always has.

The interface works perfectly fine, it’s not broken so doesn’t need fixing. Maybe a few new features could be added but not really necessary.

If anything has changed, it’s the forums. There are very prevalent users who love to create division and deride anyone who disagrees with their philosophy. Their vociferous responses to simple questions or ideas are unpleasant at best, But thankfully, the majority of this site doesn’t use the forums so it’s only a small part of the site. I imagine all forums on all sites are no better.

The mrs and myself have been on this site on and off for best part of 20 years plus, it’s lost its main purpose now and has become more of a social platform, whenever the site is mentioned in the media you get a sudden surge of new male members looking for a quick fix then getting quickly frustrated it doesn’t happen.

The one thing FAB over then it's that puts completely free (with the exception of some minor functionality).

There are some great people on here just like any site.

And the forums can be good for a laugh when ghe telly is crap.

I wouldn't say fab is done although I don't know what it was like long ago. I do think the people change, not necessarily the site.

I know I have changed how I use the site a lot. Use to be more open and now I'm more cynical, granted, but also I find it a great platform for club meets and more social aspects.

I would say there are many issues with this site that could be improved, but as I am sat in Manchester club academy listening to an ok but ordinary support band I am not going to spend time listing them, I'll wait till I am home and have more time.

Suffice to say I wouldn't ask the site owners for directions as they clearly haven't a clue about where places actually are!

It's what us on here make it.to be fair we could have met hundreds for sex since we joined but due to them not being what we are looking for,kids,family,jobs,vanilla life ect we haven't had much time to spare. We had some crap meets and we had some brilliant meets up to now. The other sites out there charge to even message which fab doesn't. The joining fees are also silly for some.we prefer fab to be honest and will not be leaving anytime soon.

no and yes for alot of us fab still works as good as the day it started .... you just have to be ruthless in what your searching for friendly but blunt and to the point if your a couple or woman...

the only people that you can honestly say this site will get worst for are guys as every week men pour in and join.

saying that i have notice more and more of our swinging friends spending less and less time here even some have gone altogether so i guess it will be affecting some but the main losers will always be men on fab due to how many are here and how many are still flooding in to join

and im not bashing you guys its not a individual thing but if it carries on the worse it gets for men already as ive said before see many many couples doing private parties where only whos in the know gets invites .... thing is also word of mouth is huge if a local guy fucks up on here everybody knows to avoid not just on fab but also privately ..

so for me or us no change but we are extremely picky and we havent been let down for years because of that ...i just see the scene getting more and more underground again and has been since covid ... it will never die for couples women may get pissed off but men well no hope there sadly for them

I've known about it for many years, but only joined a few months ago. So far it's doing exactly what I wanted it for, and some other things I didn't want but fully expected from such a place.

I think, as with any social connection site/app/event, you get out what you put in and some intentionally directed effort pays dividends
