I have a question. Guys please enlighten us women on your thought process when sending the same message repeatedly like you’ve never spoken before. ‘I’ve just stumbled across your profile’ is a common opening line from someone who’s already messaged 22 times.

Do you know we can see previous messages?

Do you genuinely forget you’ve messaged already.. Once around the pussy tank and its gone?

Or do you think persistence will prevail?

I think some people, me included, send a message and delete it from my sent messages

That said in all honesty I probably send one or two messages a week so know who I have sent them to.

If I get no reply then so be it. But then as many woman say on here that they get 100s of messages some may think their message has been bulk deleted or unseen

Most women get enough messages that they can’t open them all

This means it’s a numbers game. It’s pure luck if you’d message gets opened. Many dont

Some guys don’t see the point putting so much effort into a numbers game. They find better uses of their time

To put it into an example. If you were playing roulette, would you spend a lot of time thinking about the number you’re going to pick? Knowing full well it had very little effect on you getting a desirable outcome? Probably not

Plenty of men do the same. Copy paste to a bunch of women, get on with their life. If any come back, great, if not, only a few mins wasted

Fab is a bit of a numbers game for guys so I can understand a little bit of copying and pasting. 22 times sounds excessive.

If I’ve sent a few messages and a girl hasn’t responded, I block her. She is probably not interested, either way, she had her chance ????

I can appreciate that and I apologise for my outburst but it does become tiersome which the barrage of man bashing that happens on here, to sort of answer your question, I have sent the first message previously to not get a reply, send another message to the same person several weeks later to then get a reply and actually get to meet that person, so it could be that your first message just gets lost so try again

I think only site supporters can see via the profile who they have messaged / winked already.

When he used to have a singles account on here, Mr W would often tell me women had read his messages but not replied or deleted it. He asked me why they would do this.. I never had my own single account

so I couldn't answer but he had a couple of theories. One theory was they kept the message to reply to and chat when they were both next online. His other theory was they just couldn't be bothered to delete the message. I reject that last because its just as easy to press 'delete' as it is the 'back' button, and has the same effect (both take you back to the inbox).

In fairness to Fab they've tried to help. I'm really happy there's now a general inbox and a separate one for messages from friends because now I don't have to scroll through lots of messages to find the friend I was talking to.

Lots of men here must be numb in the brain but then many want nothing more than to please which is quite sweet I guess. Cut them some slack, OP. If you've had enough maybe its time to set your profile to dark mode rather than start another thread attacking the boys.

Understand the frustration, to be honest We just ignore it and put it down to laziness, we’ve a mail from a single right now, its the 4th time he’s messaged the exact same copy paste as the previous times, emotes included (we told him no thanks the 1st and 2nd time)

I don’t think some realise that they just make the others that do send out a well thought out message look even better and instead just carry on throwing as many hooks in the water as possible hoping for a bite and will just take anything at all, I suspect they just fire so many out they forget who they have and haven’t messaged

I've never been into anyone on Fab so much that I'd message them more than once plus, golden rule... NO or NO RESPONSE, means NO!

And, why waste 21 messages on a person that has already told you (either by messaging you and saying so or by not responding) that they aren't interested, when you can message 21 different women and maybe find at least one that's interested in you

Yeah even when I respond and say no thank you, they respond back and acknowledge the message. Then couple days/weeks later, back with the same original message they sent before the conversation.. it's bizarre.

Ultimately it depends. Women's In_oxes get bombarded the message gets missed. So messaging when they're back on line (providing of you are not convo) can be a way of making sure it is answered and or seen.

However context is king 22 times seems obsessive. Surly at some point they must register that she ain't interested.
