A big no from me. I put meat in a sandwich, or actual cheese and onion (with optional pickle), or egg and cress. Not crisps though.

However, at least crisps are savoury and not something utterly perverse like jam.

Lamenting the loss of Brannigan’s. Any flavour of those would be great as a roll butty. (Add your own sauce)

"Lamenting the loss of Brannigan’s. "

Wait, what?!?

Whilst I might not be a fan of crisp sandwiches I am a fan of crisps. Is this why I haven't been able to find their "roast beef and mustard" flavour crisps? They were every bit as good as Seabrook's Canadian Ham crisps.

"It’s all about the dip people, tzatziki all day baby!!! "

That's the one.

Great ideas above, but all lacking that marvellous stuff from Greece,

TZATZIKI, not convinced dipping is sufficient, I'd get a big spoon, yep, a huge spoon and off you go!

The ketchup of Europe.

Medium white soft bread, 50/50 salt n vinegar and cheese n onion, real butter

The kettle and mccoys are to hard for a butty so old skool walkers please

And if you’re making someone a crisp butty the golden rule is never, ever, ever squash it down and hand it over

That’s half the pleasure in doing it yourself
