Inspired by the large number of people in our local updates section apparently wanting 'snow', are you a fan of the white stuff or does the thought of slippery roads and that horrible slushy melt off fill you with dread?

Preferred it when I was a kid and didn't drive, it's nice on Christmas day but never seems to happen.

It's nice to look at when it's just fallen, but once it starts to turn to slush and there are icy patches everywhere is a real ball ache

I absolutely hate it. It makes my job incredibly difficult, and don't enjoy driving in it. Don't like being blocked in at home either. Just bloody awful.

I quite like it, Debs doesn't probably because she has a 190 mile round trip to work 3 times a week.

And up here we do get it often, although not as much as we did in days past.

Very true. Beast from the East was the worst we've had for a few years. That year we had 6ft snow drifts at our house door for 7 weeks!

by the big field

I don’t mind driving in it, it’s fairly easy even in heavy conditions…it’s the other people out in it that cause me the most problems

Hoping we get next to none this year, as drivers don't seem to cope well and it's less safe for elderly etc, to walk

The Town by The Cross

No. I dread it.

Yes it looks nice for a few hours ... BUT

It makes life difficult for animals

It thaws and causes floods

It pushes up the price of veg

I don't want to shovel it from my path

It surrounds the house in a cooler blanket

It turns to ice

It is dangerous to walk on

It stops transport

I don't want to clear it from my car

It impacts on the road and becomes lethal

The list is endless......

I'm a practical romantic..... NO NO NO Snow ....

It's rare we get it down here on the south coast, the salty sea air puts pay to that!

It's nice to look at, but not a fan of going out in it, scared of slipping, I don't need any more injuries!

Love it when it’s deep and crisp clean snow or when it’s turned to compacted for sledging

Yellow isn’t so good

Slushy is horrible
