I think to be gay or straight you have to be into only absolutes on whichever side.

I'd say it's somewhere on the vast spectrum in between

To be homest i dont feel gay in the slightest but i fancy a t girl so much. We chat to each other for hours at a time every day and meet up regularly but i know this may come across as bonkers but i class her as a genuine woman. I might get slated for my coment but im being very honest.

No.

transwomen who present as women look like women and so hetero men will be attracted physically initially

Transwomen who don't pass will be unattractive to hetero men.

Also I suppose it depends on their genitalia. Which is such a weird thing to have to know before you can decide if you're attracted to someone.

Are you attracted to their femininity despite the fact they have a cock? Or is it a fully transitioned woman, in which case they're just a woman?

I do find this a little amusing. The gay aesthetic is to hyper masculinity. I’ve never met a gay guy who is attracted to feminine attributes whether personality or appearance.

Given a transwoman who looks like a woman essentially only has a cock as the difference it isnt remotely gay. We arent attracted to genitals we are attracted to bodies and faces. Transwomen who have masculine faces and hips etc... are likely to be less attractive than a womanly body. The cock isnt relevant at all

Trans women are women. If we are actually transitioning, like me.

We are women. End of.

Used to be men, past tense.

Hetro men are attracted to me for my femininity.

If you are that hung up on genitalia, well that sounds more like the 80s gay paranoia of "what would my closed minded friends think".

Sexuality is a wide varied spectrum. Not an absolute im either gay straight or bi.

Oh this kind of talk....honestly!!

Ok here goes,

Straight = attracted to opposite sex

Bisexual = attracted to same sex and opposite sex

But, when your horny and straight, you dont mind having sex with same sex, trans, oppoisite sex whoever = your straight and horny as fuck

Stop labelling sex anf just enjoy what or who your doing.

I don't think so, after all a guy is changing into a woman, she wants to be a woman, some have a full sex change operation, I don't think a guy is gay, I like trans girls, but I don't think I'm gay, it might be different if it a crossdresser, that's a guy wearing women's clothes.

Same as all this CIS crap, I am a female and I’m offended at being called a cisfemale by trans…you have…

female, male and trans…

getting sick of all these made up words by trans people to make themselves feel better.

A handful spout on about how offended they are about the wrong pro nouns being used but how about us females and males who are as we were born being subjected to these terms?

No. It makes you someone that fancies trans women. If you actually start shagging them regularly then it might put you somewhere on a spectrum towards gay depending on a whole host of things. Safest to just say that you're trans attracted, and bi-curious or bi. That'll cover most bases.

getting sick of all these made up words by trans people to make themselves feel better.

A handful spout on about how offended they are about the wrong pro nouns being used but how about us females and males who are as we were born being subjected to these terms?

"I am not uneducated at all, I know what sex organs males have and I know what sex organs females have. You can identify as anything you wish but fact is fact, you are a transitioning trans woman, when you have had bottom surgery you will be a trans woman but you will never be a female.

A very uneducated opinion.

I know from experience tho that ppl with these opinions won't listen to more neuenced and complicated science that disagrees with their basic science understanding.

So im going to leave this now.

It's good to see that the majority of people in here though understand more than what the daily mail and the aun says.

Bye everyone. Have fun

Strange how medical professionals disagree with you. But, you're entitled to your opinion.

A trans woman who has male sex organs is a man, sorry but just because you want to think of yourself as a woman the fact of the matter is you have a cock, you are a man.

I am entitled to that I agree,

A penis = Male

A vagina = Female

People can identify as they so wish but they can’t force biological fact on anyone. You can change how you look and how you act but you will never ever be able to think and or feel like a female "

Wow just wow!

I mean, yes. You have a very specific type of men you're attracted to then, but the bottom line is: Nothing is wrong with you if you are gay. Soo.... Dunno what you want to hear.

My opinion is thats its not gay but is bi, the label gay is for me to only be into men as a man, bi is a broader term as its attraction for both sex

This is also what CIS stands for….

Overview. Clinically isolated syndrome (CIS) is a possible diagnosis for patients who experience an episode that may represent the onset of multiple sclerosis

Cisgender is the biological term it wasn’t invested by a grad student in 1994. It’s not a defamatory term, but is only useful when needed to distinguish between a natal born female and eg someone born intersexed. I have zero interest in gender identity debates, but it’s just a fsct cis is not a derogatory term. If you choose to take offence at it that’s your choice, it doesn’t make the term derogatory.

"if you fancy trans women does that make you gay

No. It makes you someone that fancies trans women. If you actually start shagging them regularly then it might put you somewhere on a spectrum towards gay depending on a whole host of things. Safest to just say that you're trans attracted, and bi-curious or bi. That'll cover most bases.

Wish you were not stuck so far up your own ass... Nice people are here and you just steam in and disrespect everyone .. Nao bem.."

Just because a minority want that doesn’t mean the rest of us have to abide by it.

Identify as what you want but it doesn’t mean the rest have to go along with it.

I was born as a female, I am female and I’m happy as a female but I wouldn’t be happy to be referred to or called a ciswoman.

Cis is a slur. Agreed.

Cis is a medical term. You may as well assert that left handed is a slur.

The term “CIS” was only started to be used in 1994 by a graduate student as a way to refer to non transgender people.

I’m sorry but I don’t want to be referred to as a non transgender person, I am a female, born a female and live as one, I don’t appreciate the change of term that’s been used for hundreds of years to suit a certain few who want to identify as that term

I didn’t say it was derogatory but as a female who has always be called a female I take offence at now being called a cisfemale from transwomen because they want to adopt the term “female”

It’s just a word. Like all minority groups they are fighting for social space, the language will change over time.

Just because a minority want that doesn’t mean the rest of us have to abide by it.

Identify as what you want but it doesn’t mean the rest have to go along with it. "

1. I don’t identify like that.

2. Yes you do. It’s call civil society and being an adult. I’m sure you do things others don’t agree with, so maybe you can just stop whatever that is. Stop going on holidays or driving a car cause people don’t have to accept you damaging the environment with green house gasses. And ffs give it up with implying others are forcing their views on you - when you barrel into an another wide quiet thread and push your views on other people.

"I am not uneducated at all, I know what sex organs males have and I know what sex organs females have. You can identify as anything you wish but fact is fact, you are a transitioning trans woman, when you have had bottom surgery you will be a trans woman but you will never be a female. That is a fact that may not be popular but it does not change it as a fact

Science is science .... if 99 trans women and 1 cis woman lived on an island and these individuals bones are examined 100 years from now they would be classed as 99 male and 1 female skeletal remains. May not be a popular statement but does not change that fact never the less

Exactly because there were 99 males and only 1 female on the island regardless of what those 99 people identified as

It never fails to amaze me how people with GCSE level biology knowledge but a lifetime degree in ignorance try to tell others what their experience is.

Gender and biological sex are two very different things.

Language changes and develops as society does, whether you like it or not and continues whether you like it or not.

Have all of the opinions you like, it doesn’t make you right.

This confirms my post. I’m sorry, but bodily presentation and chromosomes don’t always agree let alone bodily presentation and internal awareness of sex.

Moreover, I don’t think it’s my place - or society’s -to police someone else’s body or lifestyle within the law.

Law has no relationship to natural DNA inheritance or mutation.

Genetically, it isn’t so simple as having absolute binaries. And as I said earlier, the genetics and biological presentation of a person can disagree

If you're a woman, to some degree yes. I.e. you might be gay or bi or pan.

If you're a man, no. Though you could be a Bi or pan man and be into trans women. But you could be straight too.

So many ways of looking at this...

Is a man 'gay' if a man fancies another man who is wearing 'attire' conventionally for females? (Tv)?

Some would say yes.

What I will say (from years of being a TV) is that gay men don't fancy me. They go: 'ewwww' at anything remotely feminine and to be honest I don't care much for such an attitude.

It's straight guys that fancy me initially. When they realize I'm a guy they either want to fight me... Or fuck me.

I still think if a man fucks another man (regardless of clothing) it's a bit gay tbh... But if that man's 'preference' is for genuine females... Then you could say he's straight?

... I think I've used my last braincell of the night.

Nighty night.

"Same as all this CIS crap, I am a female and I’m offended at being called a cisfemale by trans…you have…

female, male and trans…

getting sick of all these made up words by trans people to make themselves feel better.

A handful spout on about how offended they are about the wrong pro nouns being used but how about us females and males who are as we were born being subjected to these terms?

Don't see the comparison? Born as a female and happy as one I have it easy! Don't have to constantly justify who I am! So don't see myself subjected to anything! I'm a sis woman and happy! X

I was born as a female, I am female and I’m happy as a female but I wouldn’t be happy to be referred to or called a ciswoman.

Cis is a slur. Agreed.

Cis is a medical term. You may as well assert that left handed is a slur. "

It's almost exclusively used as an insult. It's offensive, and you should be more sensitive. I'd have thought someone with your background would oppose slurs.

Cis is on the same level as faggot or the likes. You don't call anyone anything like that. And there is no need to call anyone "cis" anyway. It serves no purpose other than insult.

"Call yourself anything you want doesn't me that society has to accept that! Accept my beliefs you biggot

I haven’t heard any beliefs, I’ve heard your misunderstanding of science. I’m helping you. You can thank me.

Science tells us what exactly????

Sexual binaries are not absolute

Again my beliefs say otherwise "

Binary is literally based on the word "two". lol

So yeah, absolutely agree with you here, bud.

I don't have anything against gay men or trans people (mtf or ftm) and however you want to present yourself, but you are dealt your cards and you can't change them.

If you feel like you're in the wrong body, you can fight for your rights to treated equally, but you will never actually be the opposite gender.

You can have surgeries, you can take hormones and dress and talk differently, and that is all good and well, but on a biological level you are still what you were born as. Even if you don't like it and do your best to not be.

I think most people will just accept trans people for that, but what goes against the grain is when people are trying to bend biology in their favour and then go around and call others slur as some sort of revenge.

It's not easy being transsexual, I have no doubts about that, but that is no excuse to lash out and just insult people for being who they are.

Isn't that what trans people try to fight for themselves? Oh, the hypocrisy!

Rules for thee but not for me!

Be trans. Go suck cock. Be a bottom bitch. Or dunno, still go and fuck women. No one really cares or should care, but that doesn't give you the right to come here and insult biological women for being born with everything you wish you had!

I might add: IF you actually WERE a woman, then you wouldn't have to fight for equal rights in the first place. That should be proof enough that you're a transwoman and not a woman.

You can have the same rights, but your biology simply is different.

You can be attracted to whoever you want, same sex, opposite sex, both or none - but your sexual preferences and the way you present yourself will never change the structure of your DNA.

You're either XX or XY, male or female. And nothing will ever change that.

Men who like men who look like women, are essentially attracted to men, but just a very, very specific type of men. It's just a type.

Like some straight women like big, bearded, rugby type of guys and would never, ever be attracted to a scrawny, beardless little guy. These women still like men. Just not all men.

And men who like trans women are into men, who are very, very feminine and would be repelled by anyone who isn't like that.

So yes, it is gay. No, you're not a woman if you dress like one and get implants. And calling people who are inline with their sex "cis" for no other reason than to be the opposite of inclusive (no "cis" person ever likes to be called that, hence slur. It's not OUR prefered pronouns, we are supposed to accept yours, so you need to accept our preferences), is just insulting.

I think some trans ladies are stunning and if they convinced me they were a woman then I don't think so.

I personally like convincing trans girls. Been with one. Wrong situation to enjoy it

Fun thought: I think many men who are into trans women may not be that interested in women. There is a certain distinction in their heads. Otherwise they wouldn't look specifically for "trans".

You seem to confirm that. Care to say more?

"Trans women are women.

Well said

Also, you're fucking hot ??????

That was meant to be hearts. This site is so outdated . o. So confused , this is supposed to be a site for people who are open and liberated"

Supposed being the correct thought

St Leonards

I become aroused by soft flesh, tits, cheek, a pussy, eyes, ass, humour, intelligence, a certain smile....a few other things in humanoid form.

Whether the package that comes in is human, a huge evolutionary step in panthers, penguins, pterodactyls or platypuses, advanced AI/robotics, or gorgeous three-titted green, blue, or yellow aliens (long tails are quite nice as an extra) would be mostly irrelevant.

So I don't think "gay" is a term that would cover what makes me shake with excitement and need to kiss, fuck, touch, hold, merge, care....and then say toodle-oo until next time.

Trans woman are real woman.

So it doesn't make you gay. Like having sex with trans men doesn't make a man straight.

being gay still has a stigma attached

gays don't :

pay more tax

have shorter lives

talk with their mouths full of food

cut up cyclists

fart in children's faces

lick plug sockets

steal pens

wee in swimming pools

but the way being gay still seems stigmatised by straight men, you'd think all the above was true

I mean, I do steal pens and wee in pools. Maybe the straights are right about some of us.

Not sure I understand your “fun thought”, or what makes it “fun”.

Yes there will be some men who are into other men and t-girls. And there will be some who are into women and t-girls. And others who are very much into men, women and t’s. What the split is between these various groups is of no interest to me whatsoever.

Constantly trying to label, box and categorise people does more harm than good.

this is why the world and people are so messed up because they have to be so careful with what they write or say in fear of offending people and it’s getting worse by the day no wonder why the mental health is so high

If a trans woman is a woman then just say a woman is a woman . Otherwise, explain why the word trans is required.
