I've never heard of the one you mentioned but I just had a look on Google and it reminds me of hydrangea which is another flower in my top ten. My dad was a keen gardener and our garden always bloomed with the most beautiful flowers all year long.

Jasmin and night scented stocks for delicious fragrance.

Honeysuckle on the rose arch and lavendula around the lawn.

Definitely tulips. Don’t know why but I just love them, I’ve planned thousands including lots of rare ones, I also did guerrilla planting in other peoples gardens, parks and fields and sometimes visit them!

Hoping to go and photograph them in Holland next spring. Love the tulip museum in Amsterdam.
