What's your favourite flower or flowering plant?

I've never heard of the one you mentioned but I just had a look on Google and it reminds me of hydrangea which is another flower in my top ten. My dad was a keen gardener and our garden always bloomed with the most beautiful flowers all year long.

To be honest I just love finding out what a woman likes whether that be mum, family member, work colleague etc and buying them flowers randomly or as a thank you..

Just to see their smile is absolutely priceless

I grow a few Hydrangeas, Camillia Japonicas and Dahlias. I like them because they don’t die on me and are fairly hardy in the Welsh weather!

For the beauty I’d say Glorious superba. They’re stunning but lethal.

I also love Tigridia (day lilies) but they flower for only one day. I always blink and miss them.

Cosmos.

They are just lovely, loads of different colours, feathery leaves, gorgeous as cut flowers, last for ages outside we've still got a couple in bloom and look beautiful waving in the breeze.

Paper Town Central, Essex.

Campanula, peonies and passiflora (passion flower). Always showy and utterly beautiful.

Jasmin and night scented stocks for delicious fragrance.

Honeysuckle on the rose arch and lavendula around the lawn.

I love my garden nearly as much as I love a gorgeous lady.

Definitely tulips. Don’t know why but I just love them, I’ve planned thousands including lots of rare ones, I also did guerrilla planting in other peoples gardens, parks and fields and sometimes visit them!

Hoping to go and photograph them in Holland next spring. Love the tulip museum in Amsterdam.
