We're fairly lucky, our chihuahua just ignores them and our pug is OK just barks when there's a really loud bang.

One doggo gives no fucks.

The other doggo gives a good impression of a war zone. That said, I’ve been prepared this year and been giving her chill pills all week. She noticed them earlier and only kicked off when I opened the door to let the other one out. Played the piano for a few minutes and she settled down. All calm atm!

The cat doesn't care. The dogs were a bit jumpy last night, but seem more used to it tonight. I am wearing one dog as a scarf, and one as a blanket though.

It isn't worth banning fireworks over. The sale is restricted already in the uk 15th oct to 10th nov and for a few weeks in dec/jan. You arent supposed to set them off after 11 unless its new year or diwali.

As dogs cant look up i guess they dont get the joy of the pretty colours

This evening, I let him out in the bavk garden whilst fireworks were going off in the distance and he stopped at the bottom of the garden and looked like he was watching them.

The 4 gerbils and 2 hamsters really couldn't care less about them.

The 4 budgies went suddenly quiet when one of those bloody military-grade ones went off. After putting their radio on to drown it out, they were much happier.

Still think that fireworks should be relegated to public displays only - in the early hours of Saturday morning, some moron set off a really loud "banger" at ten to bloody three!
