But who used to have it LARGE back in the day?

What was your golden era?

Where did you go?

Peak times for me were in the Dome in Birmingham in the early 90s, I’m guessing it’s no longer there any more (but can’t be arsed to Google!)

I’m just thankful videophones were not available (or at least commonplace) in the 90s!

Well this one time at band camp….

There was an occasion when i was on stage in front if a load of blokes fucking 2 ‘Dancers’. - a girl under the table blowing me in a busy city centre pub , waking up at a party with a girl sucking my cock - and thats before I was in bands….

Manchester(ish).

I danced a lot in the early 2000s, made amazing friends. Lots of the details are blurry.

So glad there weren't camera phones around. We were a lot freer without the thread of social media exposure.

They were very happy days. I'm still up for a social dance every now and again.

Yeah a little bit. My mate's older brother and his mates he kind of started the ball rolling when I was 15: raves, house parties all of that hedonistic mayhem.

Then it was clubs Lakota in Bristol, Cream in Liverpool. A few of my mates were into the whole DJ mixing stuff so yeah it was a thing. Always something happening. It was all wholesome fun

I had house/clubber mates and the grungy/stoner mates. Sometimes they'd even crossover. Like Glastonbury. We'd usually end up 4am back in someone's flat playing cards and eating cheese. Bunch of scousers and cockneys ripping each other and arguing over the rules.

I used to go clubbing in Cardiff City Centre, PJ’s (which was massive!) The Wine Press, Jackson’s, Cha Cha’s and Buzz etc.

I had an early morning cleaning job then as I was in College in the day so I’d be getting in at 2:30 - 3am and I’d be getting up for work at 5am and was fine - no hangover. No way I could do that now.

Then in my late 20’s it was Kiwis, Walkabout. But was ready to get home by 1am as my feet would be sore and burning from all the dancing.

Met Carl a few times, nice guy. When I first met him in 93/94 was at breakfast (the club was in a hotel) he was skinny and had hair. He proceeded to lift 3 plates and pretend to mix with them. Calling himself the 3 plate wizard, not many people laughed as they had lockjaw for some reason???

He must have stuck the bulk on fairly quick as he nearly put me on my arse at The Hacienda in about 96, when he opened a door as i walked past- he was a big bugger...think he apologised but it was a tad loud and i was slightly squiffy for some reason

We had clubs in Birmingham and Wolverhampton to go to, probably the 90's era too. No idea what they were called but we could dance all night up on stages and in little podiums. I was as fit as a flea back then and could even walk and dance in high heels

Mid to late 90's for me, all sorts of places, mainly round Sheffield, Leeds or Manchester. Gigs and festivals generally further afield. Fun times, but like others have said, I'm glad there were no smartphones to record some of the antics...the only record there is is the odd picture from the few disposable cameras that didn't end up smashed or in a river or something, and from those it would seem that my friends and I really enjoyed taking pictures of each other having a pee

Started clubbing at 16 Alternative music, grunge and metal mainly. Moved to a small mountain village at 18 and there it was all pubs and private house parties. That's where I was introduced to the swinging scene by an older cuckold couple.

Moved to Mozambique age 23 to start and run a backpackers lodge on the beach. So that was partying and drinking every night and huge monthly full moon, bonfire parties on the beach every month. Those ocasionaly ended in naked fire dancing, skinny dipping and a few small orgies
