What physical activity do you do and why would you recommend it?

Do you powerlift because you want to be able lift people up while squatting?

Do you go bouldering (I really do learn things from FAB) because you want people to stare at your arse from below?

Do you scuba dive because you want to feel the wetness all around you?

Or is sex the only physical activity you need to keep fit?

Give me some ideas of things to try.

There is a lot to be said for this, and it’s usually low impact.

I used to enjoy cycling, swimming and running but since my endometriosis flared up, I’m only able to walk now.

30000 steps on a good day it is.

Swimming because it doesn't feel like exercise and I enjoy it as a bit of me time with my thoughts before work. Zumba because it's fun and a good cardio workout... I've no coordination but no one cares. Tennis as hitting balls is a great stress reliever. I imagine they are the heads of those that have pissed me off.

My favourite is walking, as in hills, mountains, cliff paths, anything with scenery, because that’s exercise for the soul too.

I occasionally throw in some cycling and throw some modest weights around to keep the body moving.

Latin inspired dance workout. It's a great cardio workout

My Zumba class has different dance routines to various songs. With a warm up and cool down. Songs vary from Dua Lipa Dance the Night, Beyonce Single Ladies and a new Thriller routine. It's great fun, does not seem like an hour long exercise class

Weights for me.

I find they are a great stress reliever and have the bonuses of not only making me stronger, but also bringing aesthetic positives (and the associated confidence) and help in keeping middle age weight down (more lean muscle mass means more calories burnt just sitting on my arse at a my desk).

You have to do them right though, otherwise injuries will swiftly follow (been there, done that!). Also need to ensure proper sleep and a good diet (you can’t out-train a bad one).

Definitely walking. I love walking around here where I grew up out in the country. Could walk for miles. Around the farm and down what is known as paradise walk near the hall in the village. So peaceful and tranquil. Probably one of the best parts of the country in my opinion

La la land

Walking up hills and mountains, I like getting away from people.

Heels dance classes, it absolutely physically and mentally exhausting. But dancing in heels and sexy clothing is good for the old confidence, as well as keeping up with those who are at least 15 years younger than me.

It’s not too muddy there. The hall and gardens and it’s surroundings it’s around can be quite a romantic place. Can’t say where then people will know where I live
