I've just googled for you and I found two veterinary surgeries in Warrington, one called The Vet open until 3 at Cockhedge and the other is open until 5, Vets for Pets on Riverside
Took all of a few minutes and I don't even live in Warrington

I thought she would have more idea than me, but she wasnt interested as it wasnt one of hers. "Yeah call RSPCA if they can't attend they will be able to advise. If it's chipped it can be scanned. Guarantee that the owners will want to know. People who run over cat's and leave them to die are disgusting cunts. Good on you OP for trying to do the decent thing

"huge kick off in the street now outside the cat has gone, the guy whos house it was outside is stood in the road with a spade, and cat woman and another lady are having a screaming argument with him and police have been called Fuckin hell we have houses on one side of our road, and woodland on the other with deep overgrown grass it seems the guy with the spade has gone out, picked the cat up on the spade, and thrown it as far as he can into the long grass cat woman has been screaming at him and phoned the police - they wont do nothing.
