And she was 96!!!

She could have died from a feather landing too heavily on her!

Not all that North of North London

According to her death certificate she died of old age.

There's no mention of cancer even as a contributing cause. Nor any mention of covid

For me, I think after losing a life long partner the will to continue wanes.

And where she chose to die is significant as she loved Scotland.

I will watch on Saturday as it maybe a once in a lifetime event.

That's only speculation...something that Gyles Brandreth claims he heard from an unspecified other

If there's one thing I refused to do in my meek and humble life is wager anyone's demise.

In my view she deteriorated rapidly after Phillip's death.

Next Door

The Coronation, I might not ever experience one again in life time.

Our Queen, it did feel like she was going to live forever.

I agree, Charles will abdicate within a relatively short space of time. I don't see him doing this till he passes. I doubt he wants William to spend the best years of his life as heir like he did

Do you think so?

My opinion is that having been brought up from birth believing his destiny is to be monarch he's unlikely to abdicate. Abdication is such a serious business I can't see it happening

Abdication as you say is serious.

My personal feeling to Charles is rather damp if I'm honest. Nothing to do with him, his beliefs, charity work or anything.

I'm 57, I've always known the late Queen as monarch. I think maybe after the coronation it'll kind of settle in my mind more.
