I stayed in a 100 mixed bed dorm on a party island in Fiji.

No - never in a public dorm, Once when I shared a twin dorm room with a female friend I'm 99.9% sure I heard her enjoying some alone time. I ignored it and have never mentored it to her.

They are designed for backpackers so are not seen as shag pads more places to share experiences and travel tips. It happens but it's rare, usually d*unk couples rather than singles hooking up.

1. Yes I have.

2. No there wasn't - everyone was respectful of others personal space.

3. Met some very nice and very interesting people.
