As it says on the tin.

Are there any other fabbers brave/stupid/insane enough to be running the London marathon this sunday?

We both managed to secure places this year. One a ballot place the other a charity place and it's going to be our 1st time running marathon distance.

I'm not running but I'll be there all day at one of the charity cheerpoints in the Isle of Dogs.

We both will plod past at some point in our charity tops. But probably about 2 hours apart

I'd love to hear more about it, I've read books about it and it sounds an insanely tough run!

If your charity tops are bright orange and yellow I'll fire a confetti cannon at you!

Word of advice, the finish area is heaving and never has mobile signal so plan where ti meet each other post race.

Gone are my marathons days, not from a health perspective, but these days the thought of committing to a training plan and chasing a time, fill me with dread!! Running for fun (yes, I know) is what it’s all about these days

Did it in 2013 and really enjoyed the experience. Free travel on the tube to get to the starting pens, make sure you have everything as once you enter you can’t come out until flag goes down.

It’s a bit busy so forget about PB’s and just enjoy your day.

If you’re willing, let us know your numbers and we can track you all around the course.
