This has happened to me a few times including last night when the boxing was on. Am guessing lots of guys would put sport before a meet for sex?

And ladies. I've delayed or not gone to an event till the race I was watching is done.

When moto gp was on BBC, I even moved the sofa in chams so I could watch it

some dude (no longer on Fab) once patched me for a Rangers game...

As someone who is just not into sport, I just do not understand this.

Funnily enough I did an abduction meet while the world cup (or was it the Euros, I don't fucking know) was on last year, and it was on in the background

Hahaha my hubby would to be fair! He won’t miss his footy team! I once had a solo meet when England were playing the All Blacks! He wasn’t into rugby! I suggested we meet at the pub to watch it or just meet after. He said not to worry he’d put it on in his hotel room! Didn’t see much of the game to be fair but England won!

To be honest that wouldn't bother me and previously when knowing they support a specific team I have made a joke stating we can't meet that night.

A lot of the time they are going to watch it with mates, maybe in the pub or at home with a group so it's a social thing. To me it's more important that they stay connected to mates than meet me so would encourage a different day

Turn down an offer, or stood up/cancelled?

If it's the former then, I don't care who you are, if I want to do something else at that time even if it's reading a book, I'll read my book. I'm not here to come running when "you" want just because you offered sex.

If it's the latter, and things have been arranged, then short of genuine unavoidable reasons I will be there.

Carlisle usually

I can turn down a meet for any reason I see fit, and so can anyone else

If it was something already arranged and then you got stood up for sport, especially considering sport things tend to be more known in advance than on the fly, fair enough, be put out at that.

But if they just had other plans when the meet was offered, that's entirely up to them.

When Ronnie O’Sullivan is playing snooker or Man Utd are playing football then there is no chance of me agreeing to a meet. On the few occasions I have been messaged about a meet I have declined and asked for my reasons I have given them. The fact that a couple of Fab members then choose to block me for my honesty is their right.

Somewhere in Co. Down

And why shouldn't men choose another interest over meeting some one for sex. They have lives outside of here as well and are have just as much right to say no to a meet as anyone else.

I really don't get why it would be an issue if someone said no sorry can't make it that time as they have something else on. To think anyone should have meet just because sex is offered seems to be quite an entitled attitude to have.

Obviously someone can decline a meet for any reason they see fit.

Would I personally decline one to watch sport... highly unlikely.

But if I had existing social plans or gig plans then that's more likely.

I let them get on with it. I used to see a guy who was into rugby and wouldn't dream of disturbing him when the rugby was on. Same aa football. I'm not precious and think I'm the most important thing in the world. When I used to meet I would wait until corrie had finished.

My beloved Jay was a tennis fanatic and I'd become a tennis widow for two weeks.

If it's an important sporting event, champions league final, final day of the prem, any play off games they would come before anything! Pmsl!

I have a friends wedding coming up and it's on a Saturday when all the FA cup games are on! He has made sure there is decent WiFi so people can watch the matches on phones/tablets and a TV at the reception!

Mate I support Arsenal in football.

We may win the league this year but probably wont. It's been 19 years.

If it comes to the last game of the season to win the league Margot Robbie could send me a video of her in sexy lingerie in a hotel waiting for me to do anything I want. I would order her a fancy vibrator to be delivered to her room and watch the game!
