As a couple we often do in pubs and wine bars, it's sexy knowing that we can attract vanilla couples.

Carlisle usually

I keep my big overear headphones on and absolutely avoid making eye contact with anyone on the street. I'm doing something or going somewhere and I want to be left the fuck alone until I'm somewhere I'm happy to be approached. The street ain't it

Jane gets more approaches from guys out in the real world than she does through Fab, in fact she's meeting a guy for coffee on Saturday who was trying to sell her broadband on Tuesday.

In my thirties I took a vow to never miss an opportunity. Don't be a creep but talking to strangers shouldn't be an issue.

Human beings are attracted to one another - it's why the species is a success.

Jane and I met on the train...

We both got the same train every morning from Bromley South to London Victoria.

Occasionally we'd be seated close and we'd exchange pleasantries.

One evening there were major delays from Victoria so she asked if I'd like to join her for a coffee...we went on to share a black cab back to Bromley (at enormous cost) and chatted all the way.

35 years later we are glad we met that way and weren't afraid to talk to each other.

All people can say is no. We all came out of the same hole, we all end up in the same hole, just be happy, friendly and have fun. We all have different types, so a no is all good, just dont get arsey with someone if they say no

I've been chatted up on the street a few times.

I've never started a conversation with someone because I felt attracted to them but I do talk to random people in public quite a bit.

Not on the street no. In my rare group or social appearances I often get approached, but unless we click quite quickly I'm polite but fairly unresponsive.

No I don't chat anyone up on the streets as it seems everyone has their ears plugged up with earbuds or headphones.

And the only time I've been chatted up in the streets is by a wily charity worker soliciting donations who literally called at me when I walked past him, saying "excuse me sir you dropped something!". I actually believed him, turned round and asked him what I dropped, and he was like "... your beautiful smile! Can I have five minutes of your time please? *begins to go into promoting spiel*".

Remind me never to be so naive again.

Do you think the train eventually made it to Bromley (albeit severely delayed) or was it eventually cancelled?

Always, analogue fabbing. I find it easier getting what's in my head out through my mouth than I do from my fjngers. And I don't have to check grammer or spelling lol

I would love to chat to people on the street. When I attempt it, they think I'm a weirdo

People are not very approachable nowadays, sadly...

I'm a bit flirty. But I don't think I'm classically attractive to be seriously chatted up, no.

Oh no. This is a skill I have never developed.

To be fair, if a pretty woman tried to chat to me on the street, I'd assume she was trying to sell me something!
