Not as in.. Oh, I sent em a msg type deal?... But just in general if you've clicked on someone's profile within the forums randomly?... I appear to have inadvertently pissed off a lot of folk I've actually never spoken to?

I make no secret of the fact that I do this. It generally won’t be because someone’s pissed me off but because views have been expressed that show we clearly wouldn’t be compatible. If that’s the case why would I want to show up in each others searches in the future ? It’s purely a filter for me to save time when finding potential meets

Many folk on fab use blocking as a filter. It comes across as harsh but sometimes it’s just to make life on fab easier.

It may be that you are so far from their criteria, they know they’ll never meet you ie preferences, appearance etc

It could be you’re too local or not close enough. Or that you conduct yourself in ways they don’t find appealing, or because of things you’ve said in forum posts.

Chances are you haven’t directly pissed them off, although I know I’ve been blocked for just that reason!! Their choice, I move on.

Yes, most of us probably have been I reckon. I've blocked people simply because I'm not interested or because they keep looking at my profile regularly without fabbing or messaging (it's a bit weird, use ninja mode).

We use our block as another filter we use it for people we have chatted to and maybe they don’t want to meet us or other way round.It just stops us from messaging them again further down the line.

Because if they block people the may not see stuff that needs moderating. On websites that I've been involved with mods/ops are never allowed to block, they could always have an ordinary user profile as well if it was important to them.

Yep, only reason I know I'm blocked is because I always check first before I comment on someones thread or reply to a comment they've made in a thread I wouldn't want to interact in anyway with someone who has gone to the trouble of blocking me, no idea why he blocked me nor do I care tbh. Anything reported on a profile will be looked at by admin.

You don’t need to apologise it doesn’t mean you did anything wrong , I often block people just to make sure I don’t message them by accident in the future, nothing wrong with them just not my type of person

im a pre blocker so anyone local that dont interest me i block people that im not looking for i block people that are looking for kinks i dont do i block and on top of that those whom i dont like 90% of my block list is about filters the other 10% the naughty step ...

and it works it the best tool on fab ..people need to stop seeing it as a negative thing and use it as a filter .

For me the strangest scenario is when someone from the other side of the country blocks you without ever interacting with them. But then they interact with your posts going forward.

Surely you either think i am worth avoiding or you dont
