Not all that North of North London

I've got my partner and that's it. My mom was an only child, my dad was estranged from his family so I don't class them as anything to do with me. I have a brother I've not had anything to do with for years. And I'm in minimal contact with my mother. No kidss

So 2 living relatives, and the most minimal contact with just one of them.

Not sure a family can be much smaller than that?

My parents are bothdead now, I have quite an extended family on my mum’s side but I haven’t seen them in over 30 years.

My family to me is my husband, three children, an auntie and a cousin who I hold very dear. That’s it.

Depends how you view such things.

Close family is me and my mum (and my dogs, fu they are family!). My brother too but he lives an hour away with his fiancé and 3 kids and don't see them regularly. Every other month, sometimes more sometimes less.

Then of course the family branches out but only on my mums side, cousins and second cousins etc

Never really have been a part of my dad's side.

Just me. No partner, no kids.

Mum and dad I see maybe 3 or 4 times a year, and sister I see maybe 6 times a year.

It can be a lonely existence sometimes.

Immediate family is just my mum and a brother I don't speak to. I have literally dozens of cousins and second cousins and cousins once removed and twice removed and stepsiblings and stepneices and stepnephews.

Yep, huge family. I had five brothers growing up. My dad was one of ten so hundreds of family members on his side that I keep in touch with, a proper good Irish family. My mum was one of four and they have a huge family too. I have a ridiculous amount of nieces and nephews, absolutely love them to bits and they are the main reason I keep in touch with my brothers who are still alive.
