Are you a secret swinger?

Jump to newest

Most of the various sexual orientations are quiet happy to say so to anyone they meet. It seems common place on TV and in everyday life...... unless you are a swinger.

Have you come out of the closet as a swinger or is it a secret to be kept?

Only a couple of my closest friends know but that's it. So does it make me a 'sort of' secret swinger?

We really don't hide anything from anybody, Penny will happily tell her troupe of friends exactly what we have gotten up to, crazy thing is they all want to come with us now to clubs.

I don’t see myself as a swinger, just a Transvestite who enjoys going out to places that are inclusive. I enjoy sex with both men and women but if I have a great time just socialising that’ll do me.

There are some friends and family that know I dress, they also know I attend some risqué places whilst doing it. But I don’t go into too much detail.

I'm open about it. And most friends know.

I don’t see my sex life as anybody else’s business. Nothing to do with being secretive. It’s private business between me and whomever it is I’m involved with.

This exactly.

It's no one's business what you do in private with who regardless of gender or orientation.

Why do people feel they have to share everything??

The only people that know are other fab members. I'd prefer to keep it that way. Not that anyone would believe a nerd like me would be on a site like this!

I did let slip to a few friends over dinner that I have attended a few clubs. It's always a light hearted talking point now. They are at least intrigued and some even envious.

We don’t feel the need to discuss sexual preferences either theirs or ours with friends and family.

It’s not like we’re vegans with an irresistible urge to tell all and sundry.

A small select few people. I wouldn't discuss vanilla sex life publicly. I'm not sure why I'd do anything different with my toe dipping experiences here?

I really do feel that despite modern times, there's still a stigma with the lifestyle.

Just before Christmas I was at a gathering, when a person was pointed out to me as a 'swinger and how they're all munters'

There was much sniggering ongoing.

Sure you can take the who cares approach, but I'm sure we'd all rather keep our private activities just that.

Considering the conversations I've heard from non-swinging people around me about the people on the scene, no I think I'll keep that to myself

Yep, this!

I don't feel the need or desire to discuss our sex life with all and sundry. That has nothing to do with swinging - nobody needs to know what goes on between us, let alone anyone else.

I'm sure some like to brag, see their exploits as an ego boost and tell friends, family and workmates what they get up to in the sack with partners and others.

Being that open is their choice and that's fine.

But I've always had a nagging doubt about how discreet those who couldn't give two shits who knows who they've banged this weekend will be when it comes to the privacy and discretion of others.

A couple of my very closest friends know but it's not something I want everyone knowing. Our parents wouldn't understand and I would hate for our children to find out. People are still very narrow minded and judgemental where we live.

I was never particularly secretive about it.

But after the stalker threatened to ruin my life with the knowledge I went all out and told everyone directly.

I don't discuss my sex life with friends or family; not because I'm ashamed but because it's none of their business.

Sex friends, whether swingers or not, know that I'm active on the sites I visit and know the sorts of things I'm exploring at a given time.

I'm always interested in other couples answer to this. Swapping partners and saying that out loud can go either way in people's opinion of you as a couple. Is there anything for singles to admit to? Meeting up for casual sex with other people is what singles do, weather it be from here or someone they've met in a nightclub then leave together for a one night stand
