I have a few fossils, including one of a conical shell dated to around 400 million years old.

So either that, or some Stilton at the back of the fridge that I haven't dared get rid of.

We have fossils Mr KC collected. Beyond that, possibly jewellery that belonged to my Grandma and were antique when she got them. Or possibly one of my Grandad's instruments, but I'm not sure of their precise age.

Nowhere near the oldest, but I have poems handwritten on handmade paper, from 1917. Sent to my Grandma (owner of aforementioned jewellery) and her sister and brother by an aunt. Each poem is about the child who received it and were for Christmas-time.

Got some ivory scrimshaw that I inherited. I’m loathe to even get it valued as I don’t agree with the ivory trade but it’s very old and came from my grandma. Centuries old apparently.

"I also have some roman coins "
Fairly hard to beat other than geological items!

Coins wise, I have got some Queen Victoria 'Honolulu*' pennies. Also got a unique 'fourpenny bit' which I brazed together myself but that was in the 1950s.

*Anyone else familiar with the 'Honolulu' penny? If not I might need to explain how to spot them!
