I love dystopian stuff aswell! Was 3% any good I nearly watched that before but didn't in the end "Loved 3%. It had a lot of twists that you just didn't see coming. Also that "Game of thrones satisfaction" when a character gets their just desserts! It was nominated for awards. It's brilliant because they used the natural Brazillian landscapes and not as many special effects/CGI...but the main storyline and the characters' backgrounds and acting were the best things for me. It's got religious fanatics, rebels/revolutionaries, pious upper class who think they know better than everyone else, dreadful sacrifices, unexpected leaders, political shenanigans, character redemption and biological engineering. It's like Hunger Games or Game of Thrones but Brazilian and stripped back to the bare bones with none of that fancy Hollywood visuals, that elaborate Bollywood sets and costumes and not like Nollywood either. It's just good acting and good writing. | |||
