Well, normality is resuming after the festivities. I'm off to pick up my son for the weekend (it's only been 2 days since I seen him but, feels like a lifetime). Gonna be a weekend of train sets, animated movies and hearing "what doin daddy" every 2 minutes. He's 17, he should get his shit together. Can't wait.

What are you lovely lot up too? Wholesome fun or utter debauchery? Either way... Hope it makes you smile.

Oh, and he's 3, it was a joke!

It's a quiet one for me this weekend. Getting back into the swing of the gym so off there tonight. Tomorrow is a day of absolutely nothing, getting the last of the rest in before my first teaching shift on the year on Sunday.

Nice. If it wasn't for the 200 mile drive I'd bring him along. He loves the water

Quiet weekend for us. Two nights at a club.......

First chance we've had for some 'us time' in months so making the most of it, as it'll likely be a while til it happens again.

Dying to try that place. Hell of a drive, and entry fee though (80 if I remember rightly). One day though. Enjoy

You could be right.

It's a two hour drive there (could be double that on a Friday knowing the M5) so Fox gets to sleep enough route. On the plus side it'll be a long lie in tomorrow, followed by a late brunch and then back to bed before round 2.

Just a quiet one from me and definitely back to normality. Went to the gym this morning so one less thing to worry about about, get a head start on my chores this evening, chill tomorrow and then gym and meal prep on Sunday. Might treat myself to some doughnuts if I'm feeling frisky

land of make believe

I have my gorgeous grandchildren and I'm so excited to be taking them swimming as i do every week and baking lots of delicious treats with them before going rock pooling probably in the rain.

Wishing everyone a fantastical time whatever they are doing.

xx

Aww have a brilliant time Thumper! I'm not broody in the slightest...

I did have some plans. Gentle debauchery. But instead I'm taking a crash course in weight loss thanks to having the flu. Really need to be better in the next couple of days as not rearranging another date.

Not all that North of North London

Nothing more exciting than the gym tomorrow. Possibly parkrun but the forecast is grim.

Sunday out for a run with some friends and then off to watch a bike race in the afternoon.

Do we need to buy you a fleshlight for when you're feeling frisky? Otherwise it's just a waste of doughnuts

Quite a wholesome thread, all in all. (Glad i went with that instead of "who wants to peg me". It was a coin toss)

Have a great weekend everyone. That's me home with the boy

No real plans. But I'm finally feeling better so have all the chores to do that got ignored while we were ill. Plus now my throat no longer hurts I can read to my daughter again. It'll be nice to finish the final Percy Jackson book. We're nearly there

Lazy weekends here, no real plans.

3 is a great age, early years are so much fun when you look back on it.

Make the most of him at that age op… in the blink of an eye he’ll be off to high school.
