The Big Smoke

What music do you listen to?

If any…

For me I always flick to OK Computer - Radiohead. And then Jagged Little Pill

It’s funny but they always give me solace..

What do you listen to dear forumites?

Oh, so much: upbeat R&B, hip hop, 80s pop, old school indie.

But sometimes I also like a little wallow so will let the music reflect my mood and just go with it.

Hope you're feeling better soon x

Gateway to the Beacons

My music is rather eclectic

From classical to punk

From soul to Madchester

The 80s to old ska

Early rave to Motown

Bit like me really it's all over the place.

You know where I am LittleBird

Drumming.

People with drumming videos, on youtube. -There doesn't even need to be music that they are playing over & the videos can even be technical exercises or instructional.

I've found myself getting lost in this sort of content when I've been recovering from surgery and feeling down.

Oxford

Soul Limbo, Jump In The Line, Sing Sing Sing, for 'impossible not to tap your feet to', infectiously upbeat music.

Nick Drake or Elliott Smith for when I need melancholic infusion to feel less alone.

If I'm ever on the brink, though, Tallis, Wagner, or late Mozart/Beethoven will pull me through. Sheer human joy.
