"I drink 2 litres of fluid. It doesn't have to be plain water. " Even soup counts. Although, water is the difference between a plum and a prune I don’t drink 2 litres of water

"I usually drink more than 2L. Water is life " Same here. I'd say probably double that. Hell, my nightstand water vessel is 32 ounce. That's just for when I "sleep". During the day I crush water. Milk, water, coffee and beer. I don't do not drink much of anything else but those four.

"water is the difference between a plum and a prune" there's my health&beauty advice for today, thank you! It also reminded me, "Moisture is the essence of wetness, and wetness is the essence of beauty."

"No and I never have. I wasn't properly listening but wasn't there just a piece on Jeremy Vine debunking the theory?" Yes I was listening to that. Scientists say we get water from our food. So less water is needed.

I usually keep a big bottle of water next to my bed and down it as soon as I wake up in the morning

"What's that around 4 pints ? Well I sure don't drink that much water a day and I don't think many people do " It was originally 2 litres of fluid but somehow got changed to water over the years. Nobody needs to drink 2 litres of water!!

"What's that around 4 pints ? Well I sure don't drink that much water a day and I don't think many people do " Yeah around there. I have a pint of tea, a pint of water and then 2 pints of some other flavoured low calorie/low caffeine drink.

"No and I never have. I wasn't properly listening but wasn't there just a piece on Jeremy Vine debunking the theory?" I feel better when I drink near or close to that much. so it kinda works for me.

"I'm renowned in my family for going days on just coffee and Coke. Never ever ever drink water, so I'm amazed that I haven't developed kidney stones yet. Trying to rectify this in the new year as it can't be good for me " I'm an insomniac and diabetes runs in my family...I never had a coffee habit and I had to give up my coca cola habit in my mid-twenties. We won't talk about my cholesterol.

"2 litres is 3.52 imperial pints, or 4.23 US liquid pints. I easily drink that much water every day. Even more so if it's hot or I'm doing anything active. " I played football last week and it was too bloody freezing to drink the water in my flask. Lol! I drink way less in these temperatures.

"I drink a lot of fluid but not plain water. One summer I was drinking loads of water/squash and getting really bad headaches. Someone told me I was drinking to much as too much isn't good for you" oop! it depends on how much you are drinking and losing/sweating. If i'm not exercising, I stick to around 2 litres. I find other ways to cool down instead of gallons of water.

"With work, I'm way over 2 litres. But then I've had a pint and a half of coffee before most people have opened their eyes, so my body probably resembles the Fall of Saigon by lunch " clearly the coffee is doing your body good!! For me that much would give me a dodgy stomach and an anxiety attack so it's a no for me.

"I used to have get a bit fed up with people who couldn't sit in a thirty minute meeting without glugging from a sports top bottle. You're unlikely to dehydrate in that time surely " Lol! clearly they are barbarians. what's wrong with teacups and saucers in meetings? Lol!oh wait that was that one posh firm that I worked for. Actual glass and china. Stainless steel teapots and glass water jugs from the catering kitchen in the basement. I think this is how they bribed us into lunchtime meetings.

I just checked the mirror and I don't look like a prune yet but the day is yet young" I don't drink so much water by itself, but I do like drinking vimto mixed with water or lemon squash. I rarely drink any other drinks like cola because I feel like drinking more and more after it.

"2 litres a day though! That's roughly a pint for breakfast a pint with lunch a pint with tea and a pint before you to bed. At this time of year it's just not happening with me." Mental that 4 pints of lager or cider seem to be much more doable

"I used to have get a bit fed up with people who couldn't sit in a thirty minute meeting without glugging from a sports top bottle. You're unlikely to dehydrate in that time surely " Probably not but maybe they have a disease that means they don't have much saliva and therefore they get a very dry and painful mouth and their teeth, tongue and lips stick to each other and it makes it difficult and painful for them to speak so they carry a water bottle round with them .... that's what i explained to the rude person who complained about me drinking water from a bottle during a meeting we were both at

I don't complain to them I just used to get fed up with the slurping noises of the sports top bottles. Some people suffer from a condition called misophonia is what I explain to people who don't understand my dislike of hearing loud chewing, slurping or swallowing noises.

"I never seem to feel thirsty and I know I don't drink enough. I sometimes drink when I get a headache or feel a bit "wooly headed". One problem is that if I drank a pint of water I would somehow have to wee about 4 pints..." Same . Sometimes I'll have one standard cup of red bush tea to drink before I leave the house and over the next two hours will pee 17 gallons

" Water bottles are much easier to drink from than cups or glasses, when your mouth is stuck together due to a lack of saliva. Also having lingering effects of Bells Palsy x 2 i find it's easier to drink using a water bottle or a straw. I make very little noise drinking the way i do and it's far better (for me) than heaving and coughing which is what happens when my mouth has dried out. Also i know exactly how long the water has been in my water bottle and that it's fresh.
