No bonus and pay for our own work do, but yesterday was Christmas dinner day in the canteen and the company funded that lunch.

I do get a bonus but it's at financial year end if we meet our corporate targets.

Not for Xmas as such but based on Q4 results and my targets. Paid end of Jan. Normally just push into pension to reduce tax but this year might have to pay off mortgage as rates are so high

Good luck. We IPO’d last year and not profitable and trading activity is poor even though revenue is 3x. I’m nervous how this will affect my bonus

Not all that North of North London

I've been given a one off cost of living payment that I'll receive this month. My sector isn't target/bonus driven.

My partner gets an annual bonus which is linked to her company's performance but isn't paid at Christmas

We've already been told what the average bonus will be but it's based on salary and years of service which is all good for me

We don’t as a rule. However, this year, the entire workforce (which is 10’s of 1000’s) has had £500 as a cost of living boost

My lot gave out vouchers for local supermarket, so as I rarely shop there and I'm fortunate in that I don't need it I gave it to a colleague on just above min wage with a young family

A few years back, a company I worked for got into a bit of bother for refusing to show the care commission there bank books. That same year, CEO's gave themselves bonuses that Christmas amounting to over £20m. The staff got a bar of chocolate as their bonus

Used to get a bottle of champagne at Christmas time in a previous job but haven't had anything for years.

Bonus is linked to performance etc so not a Christmas thing

We have a party and a cracking raffle. we usually get a gift like a bottle of wine or chocolates.

They once had a free bar at the party all night but they never did that again, I think it cost them a fortune

There’s 3000 people where I work. It’s difficult to find a venue to get us all in so we don’t really have a Christmas party.

We don’t get a bonus either

Husband gets a bottle of whiskey. We both HATE whiskey. Not much of a thanks for working throughout the pandemic and forever changing shift patterns because of staffing issues (staffing issues because the company treat staff like shit so newbies tend not to last long)

With a previous employer we'd get a bonus through the wages then he'd go round on the last day smile give everyone a handshake and say thanks for all your hard work over the year. On a good year you'd look in your hand after and there'd be £100 cash, an okay year £50, you'd know if it had been a bad year cause he'd be carrying a bottle of aste spumanti

My last job, there was effectively 2 managers, we used to get decent wine off both of them.

The new regime, it was a box of celebrations between all of us and last year, utterly bizarrely a fucking bonsai tree for the office

I get the feeling this won't be a popular viewing based on some of the posts so far

A bonus is exactly that, an unexpected benefit on top of normal package. If there's nothing in your contract, anything is extra! If there's a specific bonus in your contract, and you get it..... What are you complaining about!?

If you want what your boss gets, work harder/smarter/qualify and get that level of job.

It reminds me of the time our team was 'awarded' a recycling unit as a thank you.

Nope we get no bonus. We also don't get any of the gifts that are handed into the home for us, admin staff tend to get them as it's usually handed into the office. We do get to say a thank you and pretend we get them tho so it doesn't make the company look bad

Well known that NHS managers get a bonus as do many others working in public service. How the hell do you get a bonus for not even achieving basic standards?
