Off to that there London village place in a couple of weeks to see a show .

Now I used to drive and work in town and knew all the secret places, unfortunately that was 20 years ago so doubt that we will find them now.

Pm me if you want, looking for safe but not extortionate parking Soho area ish.

Failing that may just park barons court area and tube it in.

Cheers

Paradise, Herts

I always park at whetstone and tube it. It’s a big car park and not too expensive. I wouldn’t even try to park in central x

There’s apps that you can use to rent space on peoples drives or owned parking spots.

We usually park for about a tenner a day.

There is no cheap parking in soho these days. And you have to remember that you have to pay congestion and maybe ULEZ if non compliant

Last time I ventured to ‘The Smoke’, I trained it in, and used the City Mapper app to feel literally like a local

Canvey Island

As already mentioned, ULEZ & Congestion.

Plus Soho, West London, expect to pay extortionate parking prices no matter what. Cheapest way to go is to park in a zone 6 area and use your debit card for travel.

Boo's World

Depending on where your coming in from Brent Cross has a huge car park and easy to catch a tube from there.

Not all that North of North London

We occasionally drive in to Kentish Town and there is plenty of on street parking but not before 6, possibly 7PM.

I wouldn't drive in during the day unless I had absolutely no choice.

If possible don't drive-in London at all. If your car is non compliant you will already have to pay nearly 30 quid. Others have already said drive somewhere outside the ULEZ zone which basically means zone 6 and then get the tube.

Got booked in to a hotel in London for work not long ago, not only was the parking an extra £25 , but the entrance to the car park was about 20ft inside the congestion zone….so almost another £20 just to get to the bloody thing!

Also remember there are train strikes on the 13th, 14th, 16th and 17th. London underground will not be affected however it has a knock on effect because the Elizabeth line, London overground and DLR will be affected.

NW London

You can park in the Somers Town area (that but just to the north of the Marylebone Road) between 6pm on Friday and 8am Monday morning free of charge. Then it's about a 15 min stroll to Soho.

Just be careful if you park South of the Marylebone Road as that cunt Sadiq Khan extended the congestion charging hours (plus the hated ULEZ charge).
