"Hi everyone, What do you all do when you're a low point with mental health? Would be nice to know how others deal with it Right now I'm not in the best of places and need help, I'm teaching out on here coz sometimes strangers are the best to talk to... Hope you don't mind me posting this " Personally, I go for a long walk (15 miles or so) on my own. Gives me time to think things through and clear my head without any distractions. If you're interested in talking with others on here about mental health, pop into the Support and Advice forum and look for the ND Wonky messages. There's a whole group of people who can relate and chat. | |||

Also, talking to someone, and unloading everything helps | |||

"OP different things will work for different people. Also depression can be triggered by different things in life. " Definitely this. Exercise did absolutely nothing for me although it helps others. Have an arsenal of things to try in your mental toolbox and if something doesn’t help, don’t worry. But please don’t use alcohol to get you through. | |||
