"Iv used mindful chef in the past. It was OK and cheaper than lots of it's competitors. The only thing I don't like about it and others ever similar vein is quite a lot of the recipes have chilli in them. " Is that chilli as in the spice or chilli as in like a dish of chilli.

"If you can afford it, it's a great starter point, however, I think even going on YouTube and finding good healthy meal prep ideas can benefit you more and save you money in the long run. I struggled with it as well but found 3 or 4 good recipes that I cycle through on a week to week basis and throw the odd new one in there when I get a bit bored " For me it’s basically the time. I have no problem cooking on a weekend but with two dogs and a newborn baby time is a premium. I used to spend my entire Sunday batch cooking things for the next week. But now I will struggle with the time.

"One of daughters who lives home still has these orders them every week she's no cook but the meals she makes look amazing! There is everthing u need even a fresh lemon if u need to squeeze it on the finished dish! Literally everything u need small pack of cheese the seasoning sauces soy honey etc in small packs u don't need to add anything! Plus they come with step by step idiot proof with pics instructions! I would not use them being a cook but good for those that do! And for the last goodness knows how many weeks it's only cost her a £5 as she put the code on is it redit? So even complete strangers use the code for their first box and she gets a discount 2! X" My sister uses one. She is very similar In Ability I feel ha ha. I can cook but I have very little time so that’s why I am looking at the boxes

"I thought about getting some of these, but couldn't find any that would do meals for one." I feel a business idea! Although I guess you could order the box for two and have a dinner one day and the portion for lunch the next day?

"Learn the basics of cooking, batch cook Save money and time" I love batch cooking but you need the funds upfront to purchase the ingredients & would need to keep the oven filled. You also need a freezer which should be kept full to be most cost effective. Not always possible for some sadly.

"Love hello fresh , use it once a month and save the recipes to reuse another time , it's a great way of getting out the rut of doing the same old things all the time . It's easy to post with comments of oh just do this that blah blah blah, but not everyone has the time skills or inclination to do that ." Yes this is why my daughter gets them! We all cook our own meals here have 2 daughters live home both adults! I cook from scratch veggie meals and other one is quite a good cook so likes to make her own from scratch! She will have My roasts I make still!works well for us x

"Learn the basics of cooking, batch cook Save money and time" Yeah. The whole point is I don’t have the time. I was a chef for 15 years so the cooking isn’t an issue. I just don’t have the time.

"Plus sides Great if you have no cooking skills Contains everything you need for each dish in pre measured quantities Cons Massive amount of non-recycleable waste. The instructions for some recipes don't make a lot of sense or require you working out timings. Overall, it's just as easy to pre-plan and DIY. You still have to prep the ingredients anyway. The peppers don't come pre-cut or garlic pre-crushed etc. My main issue with these type of services is the wastage and packaging, although a friend has half insulated his shed with the meat pack insulation foam. " Yeah. Not a huge fan of having all the waste. The bins are overflowing at the moment with nappies and baby stuff ha ha.

U could keep in freezer and take in cool bags on picnics the hello fresh boxes are very sturdy for storing things x
