For you young uns out there.

Once upon a time many many years ago,to listen to music song's the choice was:

Listen to the charts with tape recorder at hand and try to record said song on a thing called a " tape recorder or deck if you will"

This was a tricky practice it involved being lighting fast as not to catch the DJ talking over the intro or the ending.

Pop to your local Woolworths and wait until the song was released and buy it on a 45 single usually around 50p.

Then rush home and play it to death on your high fidelity record player with integrated mono speaker.

If you was really rich you may have free standing wired speaker's in STEREO.

My first ever single purchased was.

On the b side was the far edgier Black Jack Davey.
