my point is if you're considered not attractive you're limited to who you can talk to even if you have the most amazing personality because they won't see past your ugly face initially

In an appropriate setting people will potentially respond more positively if they find you attractive. But harassment abd creepy behaviour is never goibg to be defined by looks

This is true to a point. Its especially true when the guy is older. But normally it's about degree. Anyone can harass but flirting is more likely to be unwanted if there is no sexual attraction.

In the end is all about reading the signals - the real signals not what you want to read.

Pretty privilege is a real thing. And attractive men definitely get off easier than those who aren't good looking. I'm not sure if they'd get away with harassment though. I don't think many women would be happy if a stranger groped them without consent even if he was good looking.

Attraction is a much more complex dynamic than just looks but I take the point that across a crowded room Johhny Depp has got more chance than Quasimodo. But within a minute or so that initial attraction can be shattered and the plain guy with the sense of humour and couldn’t give a shit attitude wins again. Not quite, though I know what you are getting at.

If we find somebody attractive, we generally make exceptions to a few things that would not be welcome without that attraction. A certain comment or joke will be viewed more favourable if its said by those we find attractive,than those we don't.

Everyone does it, those who are "attractive" themselves, and those who are not will have dismissed or given exceptions based upon if they found somebody attractive.

It is not a get out of jail free card, but it certainly helps navigate around a few interactions that not everyone would be able to do. Crossing a line too much will make anyone go from being best looking on the planet to scum of the earth easily - though there will always be some that will fanboy/fangirl over those that are good looking regardless of what they do.
