Not looking forward to it in any way. Bah humbug!

Some parts of Europe celebrate it a week later.

.

I'm very much looking forward to it but I'm mainly in mode - so many horror films to watch, pumpkin spice lattes to drink and spooky candles to burn before I give it my full attention.

I love that mince pies are in the supermarkets, the Christmas Dinner sandwiches will be out soon. I love the smell of cinnamon everywhere, I get to wear my Holly dress without everyone saying "it's not christmas yet" I love my tacky tree that good taste forgot, I get to put up even more fairy lights. I get to incorporate fairy lights into my everyday apparel.

Not all that North of North London

I'm trying not to be so cynical about it this year but I will be pretty much be ignoring it other than Christmas Day Parkrun.

I still dint get how people can be getting excited about it 2 months out though!

I've started on the presents and wrapping paper.

I'm going to wrapping up as I buy this year, because I won't have any help and I buy for 14 people.

Made the cake and the pudding but that's about it so far apart from a couple of bigger presents I bought in the sales for Xmas. The rest it's usually closer to the time and sometimes last minute too.

2 months till I can stay home and drink a whole bottle of mulled wine and a bottle of prosecco and eat half a ham guilt free..

Only the Kings speech can ruin it.....on second thought I might be too d*unk to care so I will watch re-runs of the Queen's speech to cheer myself up... and some rose wine.
