Sleep.

It rarely works.

I mean, I do sleep but tend to feel just as shit when I wake up.

Nothing, I wish I had a cure. Playing guitar sometimes helps but that can be frustrating.

Exercise, fresh air and having a word with myself.

Loudly.

In line at the coffee shop.

I hate queuing.

The Town by The Cross

Go for a good walk and/or a think.

Do something for someone else.

Get stuck into something I want to do

Get stuck into something I need to do.

I don't have down days.... I have times when something needs thinking about to get sorted tho ....

I tend to just ride it out, have a cry if I need to and remind myself that it won't be forever.

Exercise is always a good option … especially if it involves fresh air

Just let it be. No point fighting it and delaying the inevitable. Have a good cry if I need to. Eat comfort food. Watch comfort shows. Just allow myself to feel it.

I used to vanish into the woods for a week or two and go all ‘Ray Mears’. Found it a great way to reset and relax away from the world. Have not been able to do that for the last few years which has definitely been exhausting …….. now, I have to make do with tea and loud music

Not all that North of North London

Running or cycling or just a walk in the local fields.

Or a hot bath, with a book and music

I think it's just acceptance for me. I accept that usually I have to hit rock bottom before I start feeling okay again. And knowing I have the strength to do it all over again and again when those days come

Only happens to me in winter and then I do “Fake summer”

I go to the gym, have a swim then go for a sun bed and round off the day with a swim, a steam and a sauna at our local club with an ice cream of course.

Always works.

I wallow in self pity, stuff my face, cry, then two paracetamol and a sweet cuppa tea (mums advice) and try pull myself together, book a massage and take it from there. But I do find it really hard to snap out of that fed up mood at times.

Another embrace it comment …. I think that’s where we fall down sometimes that we battle it… but instead embrace it … let it out… go again

Gets a bit messy with the ice cream in a sauna?

Those are rare days but I like to de-stress by sitting outside weather permitting with all tech switched off and just read a book.

Food. I should be 20 stone, really

But something really delicious in my mouth (stop it) really helps. A big freshly baked pie…a steak and some triple cooked chips…fresh bread…

Ffs, hungry now
